Allina Medical Clinic Eye Ctr

I recently went here for a thumb injury. It was my first visit, and i have to say i was pleasently surprised. I normally don't like clinics, but the staff here was very friendly. The doctor that i had seen was nice and listened well. He didn't jump to what he thought it would be, but waited and listened for my description of where and how it my thumb hurt. He was also very clear on treatment and care i would need. I liked how he didn't seem like he wanted to rush in and be on to the next patient as soon as possible.

Como park

Como Park is situated right across from Como zoo. It has a good size playground and mini golf. But the best thing about this park is how spacious it is as well as how it is situated in a quiet atmosphere. It is a great place to get together with a group of friend or family, or to even have a family renuion or maybe a birthday party. The park itself also has beautiful landscapes that would be great for a summer stroll. There are picnic areas through out the park, and plenty of shade.

RH stafford Library

I like this library because they always seem to have enough items in stock. They have a large child's area packed full with books, videos, music, and learning kits. They also have areas for reading, looking in the catalogs, and videos.
It is very spacious and the staff is always willing to help if needed.

Oakdale OB/GYN

I went here for my first pregnancy, and they were exceptional. They walked me through each step of my pregnancy with care. Also they listened to any concerns I had and addressed them appropriately. I liked how they didn't just brush me off when I told of a family history of rare genetic disorders, but took it seriously and watched my baby closely. The OB's here are a very caring and nurturing staff.

Riz Mulla - State Farm Insurance Agent

Riz is one of the best agents we have come across. He is always there and tries to get to know you as a person, not just what he is insuring. We have moved all over, but we still keep him, even though our trek to him is about 45mins one way. We would not think of getting another agent. He is exceptional at getting you the best insurance at great prices, as well as being their for you when you need him.

Curves

This is a nice club to workout for women. The staff at this particular one are very friendly and seem to get to know each person who comes into work out. I was kinda shocked though at how limited and small the club was. Sure they had some nice machinery, but i would much rather stick to a larger gym where there are also pools, showers, aerobics, as well as other things.

CONS: Not much for options, you would be doing the same thing each visit.

Bally Total Fitness

When i went to this gym, I noticed it was pretty small. The track to walk/run on was just around a few machines and took forever to just walk one mile. They did have child care, but when i tried it once, I was called shortly after I dropped my kids off. I also didn't like how people from outside the club could see in. Other then the size and not many options for people to work out, the staff was friendly.

PROS: friendly staff
CONS: Very small and limited to what you can do.

ApplianceSmart

This is a great store if your in the market for a new appliance, but don't want to pay an outrageous fee. You can get anything from a fridge to a washer and dryer. The sales clerks are pretty nice and in my opinion don't seem to pressure you when you are in their looking or shopping. They also seem to be pretty knowledgeable about the appliances. And you definetly can't beat the prices. For instance, you can get a washer or dryer for under $200.

PROS: Great prices
CONS: I believe their are only a handful of stores, so it could be a long drive

Park Leasing

If your looking for a great auto shop, consider the mechanics at the Park Jeep dealer. We took our car in their one evening and they were done by the next afternoon. The prices were not that bad as well. When we showed up to pick my car up, my husband decided he wanted a part for his car. The shop had the part and was able to get it to us within minutes. We also had our car towed here and was told a certain price for the towing. The towing fee was just put onto our final bill, but when i looked at the bill I noticed that we were charged more then what we were told. I told this to the person at the counter, and it was fixed immediately. Very good customer service here!

Emmanuel Christian Center

This church is one huge church! Now that can be a good thing if you like larger churches. But for our family we just felt like we were "lost in the crowd." We went there on and off for about a year, and never once were we able to meet the pastor. We also felt like people really didn't want to take the time to get to know people unless they were already part of their "group."

PROS: Lots of activites and groups
CONS: To large and not extremely friendly in my opinion.
