If you are looking for a nice size tree or a large tray of annuals, this is a great place to shop. They have a nice selection of landscape plants, shrubs, trees and flowers. You can tell they take care of the things they are selling and the place is easy to get to for North Alpharetta customers.
Outrageous Bargains
This is a great place for home decor items if you want some nice quality items besides just fabric. It is also a nice place to get hooked up with custom made items like curtains if you can't sew yourself. They have a nice variety of fabrics and trims to choose from as well as accessories for the home.
Textile Warehouse Co
I have gone out of my way to drive to this fabric shop several times. I have bought the fabric for all of the curtains in my house from this store. They have really good pricing but the best thing is that you will find exactly what color, texture and pattern you are looking for when doing home decor in this one store. They have a lot of helpful workers here also that can direct you to the right section, or help you find the right type of fabric for a project.
Granger, Michael W, DDS - Imagix Kids Dental & Orthdntcs
I was not impressed at all at this practice. I went here as a new patient for a cleaning and check up. I told them that I had already gotten my x rays done at my other dentist this year. They said that was fine but they still wanted to do the bite wings. When I got the bill, the insurance did not cover these again and I had told them that but they insisted they would be covered! GRRRRR... They told me I needed a deep cleaning to which I agreed and did it that day. I was to come back for my cleaning. Though the dentist was friendly enough and told me I had 3 cavities, when I returned for another visit to get them filled I saw a different dentist who told me that I only had one that needed filling (great news, but who do I trust?). SO I get the cavity filled and the cleaning, was told to rinse with flouride treatment, get to the front counter and was charged $15 for the 1 oz of rinse! Had I known up front that I would be paying out of pocket $15 for a 30 second swish swish I would have declined. I spent a few moments arguing the charges with the office staff who was most unfriendly and had me pay the balance of my previous visit (the xrays that hadn't been covered, the copay, the rinse, etc) and I felt like they were really nickel and diming their customers in a most sneaky way.
Honda Carland Svc Ctr
When out searching for a new minivan this was our first stop. It is the closest dealer to our house but not the best dealerhip around. They didn't have as much in stock as the other dealerships and weren't as great about customer service. When we went over to have our first test drive of a van we pulled up, got out and started looking into the windows of the cars just outside the dealership's windows. We waited 10 minutes before my husband started searching for someone to help us. I guess they were all on a break? The person that came was helpful, but not overly enthusiastic or eager to sell us a car so we left and got our internet quotes from a couple other dealerships nearby.
Mr Tire Auto Service Centers
I had my oil changed last time I visited the dentist over here. This is the Wood and Fullerton shop. I have had my oil done here a few times in the past and each time they are friendly, efficient and reasonably priced. I have never had to wait very long for my car to be finished yet they do seem to be busy. They really treat their busy customers nice.
Smokey Bones Barbeque and Grill
My family went here for the first time a couple of months ago. We were pleasantly surprised by the good service of this restaurant. The menus had a large variety of items other than just bar b que and they have kid's menus as well. Our food came out and we had great big portions and the prices were really good taking into consideration how much food we got.
Queen of Hearts Antiques & Interiors
It is interesting to spend some time wandering around in this antique "mall". There are many different vendors that set up "booths" inside this store front. You will see a wide variety of collectibles, antiques, handmade items and unique pieces of furniture, glassware, china, jewelry here. Good to spend a spare hour wandering around even if you don't buy anything, just to see what the market value is on some of the items you may have laying around your basement or attic!
Monkey Joe's
This location is a little hard to find off of Holcomb Bridge Rd. It is in a bad traffic area and hidden behind another building (an antique mall?). But once you find it, it is quite fun for the kids. It is a big warehouse with several inflatable apparatus just like all the other places that have popped up around here. They do birthday parties but if you hold one here, all the kids are mixed up in the same jump arena. Some of the other places have separate rooms for the party guests to play in. The kids had fun but it was a bit hairy and noisy for me.
