This is BY FAR my favorite art and craft store! They have EVERYTHING imaginable. Seriously, even obscure stuff I'd never heard of before until taking on certain projects, they've got it. They also have art classes on the weekends.
Just walking through their store, you're almost bound to be struck by the art bug. Go on, give it a try! You won't regret it!
This place is alright. It's pretty small in comparison to most pet stores, but as it specializes in fish, they're very knowledgable about their trade, and this is an ideal place to go to ask about any problems you're having with your fish or aquariums. They have lots of supplies and fish to choose from too, so if you're looking for fish, give this place a shot.
I love Kay Jewelers. They have a lovely store and their staff are helpful, not to mention eternally patient. They make the whole experience of jewelry shopping more pleasant than almost anywhere else I've ever shopped for jewelry. The prices seemed a little high to me, but that's probably just because I'm not all that used to shopping for good jewelry. But anyway, I would extremely highly recommend these guys...if there were anything higher than a 5, they'd have it!
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! It's absolutely huge, you never have a problem with parking, they have EVERYTHING you could possibly want toy-wise, it's super organized... I could spend hours in there. (In fact, I have!) This is *THE* place to go if you're looking for a gift for a child!
I've always liked this florist. They can make pretty much anything you can imagine, and they're friendly, and they're really good at helping clueless people select things when they have a vague image in mind of what they want but don't REALLY know what they're after. They're really very helpful.
Is there anything that this store DOESN'T have? It's a big store with a lot of parking, and their prices are extremely reasonable. It's good not only for typical party supplies, but costumes as well, so next Halloween, you might want to consider taking a look at what these guys have to offer as far as costumes go.
With the exception of how small that this store is and how little parking is available, it's a good place to go and get ice cream from. As promised, they really do have the 31 flavors (and then some!), plus cakes, smoothes and iced coffee. I'd highly recommend it for all your ice cream needs!
Dana's? Oh, I LOVE Dana's! Sure, it may be a tiny little store, but it's got most things you could possibly want, party-wise! The staff are friendly, the supplies are readily in stock, the prices are low... The only issue I have with this place is its placement. Horrible parking situation; it's in the middle of a small shopping-strip, so there's only about 5 or so parking places. But overall, it's really good, and I highly recommend it!
I don't have much to say about this school. They have a great playground (and have had so for years) and lots of open space to run around in. The classrooms themselves, last I saw, were somewhat run-down, and the portables were really bad. If you want a place to bring your kids to play, it's a good place for that (just make sure school's out first!), but for somewhere to send your kids to be educated...there's much better out there.
A small, beautiful campus; a close-knit school. I can't speak from experience about how the daily program works there, but as for the independant study program, I give it top marks! There's no better teacher than Mr. Miron. This school is a total savior for students who would have otherwise dropped out of school altogether.
