The Panini sandwiches are really good. This is a good atmosphere when you want to relax, read the newspaper, enjoy a nice hot pressed sandwich along with a hot bowl of soup (in an edible bowl). A nice alternative to eating at the food court in the mall across the street. The breads selections are wonderful. They have a small selection of pastries and have always beed sold out by the time that I get there. Perhaps I need to get there "before" the rush.
The coffee has been consistently weak, stale, and the canisters are always empty suring the time that I've gone, each time there was not a big effort to refill the coffee pots.
I feel that to compete with the other major bread companies around town .... you have ti keep the coffee opt brewing!
PROS: sandwiches and bread selection
CONS: needs improvement on coffee
We have taken our cars here for repairs and for general maintenance and have really been treated fairly. When you do not know much about the mechanics, is it VERY easy to be manipulated and taken advantage of. Here, you are very respected and they really know what they are doing. Their service fees are better than comparable. Nice, clean, and safe to leave the car overnight.
On the last occasion, we did encounter a problem where our car had to be brought back several times in one week for the same issue. But the same mechanic was working on it, so after complaining......hopefully they corrected the situation... I would take my care back there for repairs. I think that problem was isolated and hoped that that particular incident wouldn't tarnish my "squeaky-clean" image of them.
JCC Preschool is nestled within the Tampa Jewish Community Center. It is fully accredited by The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The facility is IMPECCABLE and the administrative staff and teachers are ALL very warm, caring and accomodating.
You have to register early for this program because it is a highly sought after facility for MANY Tampa families. Since this facility is does not exclude "non-Jewish" children and families, those who are not Jewish are enriched with the culture, as there is much emphasis on Jewish values and Jewish Holiday & celebrations at JCC Preschool.
Here, the focus at JCC is that children learn through meaningful, hand-on experiences and from play. Walking through the classroom halls you see an abundance of artwork lining the walls and your ears are filled with laughter and music.
Offered at JCC are 2, 3 and 5-day classes depending on the age of your child from 9-12, or 9-2 and they also have before and aftercare programs to accomodate practically any schedule.
They even have a program for community members and non-members (if your child is not registered at the preschool) called "Mom's Morning Out" where from 9-12 you can drop off your child, of ages 12-30 months, and run errands, have lunch with friends, or just "give yourself a little break" ...even if your child or other family member is not registered at the facility. It's a terrific program and you pay by the day, week, or month for as many days as you need. Why hire a baby-sitter when all children are cared for in a classroom setting and they have scheduled playtime, craft-time, snacktime, and period of rest. EXCELLENT!!!!!
We are not Jewish, but my daughter attends this Preschool and we are very pleased with all of the care that is given to her. We HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend JCC Preschool.
PROS: 2, 3, 5-day classes; school open from 7:30am-6pm, reasonable tuition
CONS: MUST register early for this program as it is highly sought after in Tampa
This particular Chick-Fil-A restaurant is VERY clean, the service is always great and chicken is always really good.
During the Christmas Holidays this is the place to eat. They bring in daily and nightly entertainment and the decorations are unrivaled. YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS PLACE!!! Makes for a really nice night out for the family!!!
PROS: Everything Good!
CONS: Everything Good!!!!
You can NEVER go wrong when you decide to eat at Carrabbas Italian Grill. The food is excellent, especially if you love garlic, and the service at this location has consistently been wonderful. This particular restaurant is situated off of a VERY busy stretch of Dale Mabry Highway and even on those nights you'd normally find a restaurant to be slow....Carrabbas is PACKED!!!!! That speaks for itself!!! One night when the wait was a bit long, my husband and I ate on their "terrace" (which overlooks the parking lot) and had a GREAT experience eating there....who would have thought. With the warm breeze, fun atmosphere, outside music, and not to mention very good Sangria...we forgot that we were 4 feet from our car.
The prices are EXTREMELY reasonable, the atmosphere is fun, and where else can you go for dinner, meet friends for a drink, and learn to speak Itallian while using the restroom! You cannot put a price on that!
PROS: Sauteed Mussels in Lemon/Garlic sauce & MANY classic Italian dishes
CONS: Get there early or put your name in and shop at nearby stores for a bit
