We took our daughter's on this cruise over Labor Day weekend. If you do nothing else, you must at least do this!! The drinks are unlimited, pop/lemonade for the kids, beer/wine for the adults. They play games (limbo, musical chairs), sing, dance, tell pirate stories, and have squirt gun fights with the kids. Everything is completely geared for the kids. They even come out with make-up and give out mustaches and scars. Even our 2.5 yr old loved it. The tour lasts for 2 hours and is very worth it! The ship was commissioned for this business and is very well done!! I absolutely recommend this for anyone in the Clearwater area.
PROS: Atmosphere, entertainment...it's awesome!
The people in this store are very friendly. I was at my parents' house in Montgomery county when I realized I needed to get to the store by that weekend. My mother suggested this store. They had the best, freshest meat. It was also cheaper than at our regular grocery store. The store prices were very reasonable, especially for out that way. I highly recommend this store for their meat.
I recently visited this nail salon. I was in a wedding and, being out of town, didn't know where to go. I ended up at this salon, and the ladies were wonderful. They were able to accommodate my busy schedule and get me in that Friday morning. I had a manicure and pedicure. They were very friendly and professional. The prices are very reasonable, too. I would recommend this salon.
We went to this museum during Labor Day weekend, so it was a little crowded. We arrived early enough, however, so our first couple of hours were okay. Upon first inspection, it looked like nothing special. We ended up spending all afternoon at MOSI. Our kids loved the area especially for little ones. They also liked the play area upstairs as well as the outer space exhibit. We definitely would recommend this museum to any age!! Something for everyone!!
PROS: reasonably priced
We stayed at this hotel in Sept of 2005. It was nothing fancy and the accomodations were very basic. The pool was nice, nothing large. The hot tub was large and very nice, though. The one very nice thing about this hotel is the continental breakfast. The lady who works there is very friendly and accomodating. There were muffins, doughnuts, cereal, make-your-own waffles, yogurt, and many other things to eat. We were very full each morning.
The biggest downside, right now, is also the constuction. Made it a little difficult to get to. Once we figured out where we were really going, though, we had little trouble. I would recommend this hotel for the price, though.
PROS: Price, great breakfast included
CONS: nothing special
We have found this place to be the best in town for video rentals for the following reasons: 1. You can always find what you are looking for. We have yet to not find a movie that we want to watch. 2. The best prices by far. You can decide if you want them only a day or for 5 days. 3. Free kids videos...need I say more?
The prices of the other stores in town are rediculous, and we always get good service at this place. That is why we highly recommend Family Video if you want to rent a movie in Brownsburg.
I signed my daughters up for swim lessons through this branch of teh Y last season. The lessons are taught through Ben Davis HS, bc/ they don't currently have their own pool. What a waste of $$. My oldest went ahead and braved the water, but our 2 year old refused to get in. We spend every swim lesson sitting on the side of the pool, trying to coax her in. The instructor told me that some kids are intimidated by large pools, but we had NO trouble at Brown County State park, who has a larger pool. We also have a community pool where we have no problems. The problem w/ Ben Davis HS is that the minute my daughter would get in, she started shivering. They keep the pool cold for the HS swimmers. That would be okay, but there are NO REFUNDS. You better believe that is the last time we will be participating over there!! Before you sign your child up, make sure he/she doesn't mind swimming in ice water.
Now one positive thing I will say, is that the instructor and lady in charge were very nice. They did everything they could EXCEPT offer the refund. I know they tried, but it was still alot of money wasted.
We called them about a month ago to clean our carpets. The workers were on time and were very polite. They cleaned our entire downstairs, 4 areas, 2 bedrooms and a loft for around $150/$160. All of the spots that I was worried about came out, including lipstick that our 2 yr old smudged into the carpet. The carpet looked like new when they were finished. I also paid for them to scotch guard our stairs (which was included in that price). Overall I'm very satisfied with Carpet Master and wouldn't hesitate to call them, again.
I work for a high school and we use Flying W every year for our awards. I like them because they are professional and family owned. They have been wonderful about getting awards for us, even at the last minute. Their prices are very reasonable. The employees are also great at helping us find unusual/unique awards for special occasions. They are very knowledgable. I highly recommend this company if you need anything from trophies/plaques, to nameplates, to class rings.
No matter the occasion, I always get my flowers from Jockish, and I don't even live in Indianapolis. I work near them, which is how I found out about them. Their flowers are gorgeous. they really do fabulous work! Their prices are anywhere from $5 to $25 cheaper than any other place in town (not sure how they do it). When you walk in, the place is nothing special to look at, but trust me....they do great work!!! I highly recommend them!
