The store is very well kept and clean. There are a variety of running shoes and related gear of various brands displayed al over the store. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially if you have very little running knowledge or experience. They are glad to help with finding and fitting the right shoe for you. The best part about this store is they have a treadmill in the store, so the employees can watch you run. big plus.
PROS: in store treadmill, downtown location
This is a local store that is dedicated to providing gear for runners and wrestlers. The store has a wide variety of shoes and brands, and the employees are knowledgable and helpful in finding what you need. They do fit shoes for you, which is must have for serious runners. This should definately be a store to check out if you're into running.
PROS: good staff
Went here for the first time to try out yoga. The facilities are nice, clean and air conditioned. However, do not be fooled, the workouts are intense and you will sweat - a lot. I would recommend bringing water. The class went for about one and a half hours, and the prices they have are very reasonable. Good place to go to try out yoga or if you're experienced as well.
PROS: nice facility, good workout
This store is located in the galleria mall in st louis. The store itself is full of games and puzzles. Although not very big in size, there are plenty of puzzles and games to choose from. The clerk(s) have been very nice and cordial every time I have visited, and often they'll have a large puzzle out on a table for you to walk up and work on. They also have several sample games/toys/puzzles out as well. The organization of the products allows it to be pretty easy to find stuff.
PROS: friendly, fun
The store is located on the loop, easily within walking distance of any other stores on the loop. The shop has really affordable second hand clothing and the quality isn't too bad. It's really nice to be able to ifnd stuff at fractions of what it would cost you at the mall. However, the only downside is the store seems kind of small, so the selection isn't the greatest in the world. However, ths is kind of to be expected from a store such as this. Worthwhile to check out if you're on the loop.
PROS: cheap clothing
CONS: limited selection
Vintage vinyl is a pretty cool place to go to in the middle of the loop. Walking in, you see lots and lots of different types and genres of music. You can even get stuff in the form of records or tapes, which means some of the older and harder to find stuff may be located here. The staff are nice and well informed, although, can be biased at times by their own personal music tastes.
PROS: Knowlegable workers
CONS: hard to find stuff sometimes by yourself, ask for help
The pageant is a pretty nice looking theater. Parking isn't a problem as there is plenty all around and nearby, and is also near the metro link station. The seating arrangements allow for a close atmosphere with the performers, which you often do not get in large stadium concerts. This allows for an awesome experience. Recommended for those that have a favorite band coming into town.
PROS: Close proximity to stage, good parking
CONS: sometimes can be hard to get tickets
Great breads, soups and sandwiches. The prices here aren't too bad, especially for the quantity and quality of food you get. Pretty fast service too! excellent
pretty good food for what you pay. This is one of the mexican food places i go to regularly in st louis, although there isn't much else to go to... pretty good none the less
The smoothies and bubble tea here are mediocre. They're decent enough, but not worth what you pay for. I had one friend get sick after going here (not sure if it's from them, but possible)
