This shop is always worth stopping by. It is neat and clean and well organized. The store tends to carry items that are in pretty good condition. As with all consignment shops, it's hit or miss as to what you may find. I always seem to find something.
There was a time that I used to go to Hyde Park Village and feel like I was in shopping paradise. Now, it feels deserted. There are still good stores there but the experience is just not as fun.
This store has a great selection of party supplies. Most things are very well priced although I think the decorated plates, cups and napkins seem to be a little high.
This store carries all your grooming product needs. Their prices are reasonable and the employees pretty much know there stuff. One day a week ( I think it's Tuesday) you can even get double punched on their frequent customer cards.
Gas these days is outrageous. Even at Sam's it is expensive however, it is at least less expensive than other places. Sometimes it is a significant savings - sometimes not.
This store has incredible furniture and so many catalogs that you are bound to find many things you like. However, affording it is another story. Even though the sales staff will say they are discounting the furniture it is still pricey. That being said, if you want this level of furniture you are going to have to shell out the big bucks.
I had this company come to my home based on a coupon from a magazine. When he came to my house (after not showing the first day) he was very curt and to the point. I was told the service would take about 2 hours. After about 20 minutes he declared he was finished. As I was asking him why he was able to do the job so quickly he became rude and insulting. He actually said that I was trying to avoid paying my bill. This thought never entered my mind but being he was so outrageous I asked him to leave my house. He did.
PROS: Can't think of any
CONS: Completelu untrustworthy
I love Gymboree's clothing. They have some oif the cutiest stuff around and it is all great quality. However, even when it is marked down I think it is on the pricey side. Kids grow out of clothes so quickly it is hard to justify the price tag. Great place to shop for a special outfit though.
This library is small but has always met my needs. What's most important to me is the help that is available. Any of the employees are always willing to help you find what you need. If it isn't in this branch they get transfered as soon as they can.
This dry cleaner is privately owned - not a chain. It is owned by an old fashioned, hard-working man named Max. When he tells you he will try his best to get out a stain - it's as good as gold.
