Twins games are so much fun to go to! The kids love all of the activities that go on in addition to the baseball game. Before entering the metrodome there are always games and food to kill time. Then, once inside there are obviously people everywhere to watch. There are many food choices. They do a great job of getting kids involved even when it's not kids day by having fun things on the jumbotron, giveaways, and an adorable mascot. This is such a fun family event!
This skating rink is great for winter sports! There are 4 huge rinks. There is a viewing area that overlooks all 4 rinks that offers a great concession stand. The rink offers good programs for kids and adults. They have fun things to help kids learn to skate. Their kids programs have good coaches that are patient and very helpful. This is definitely a place to check out if you're looking into skating lessons! You can stay warm and watch your kids at the same time!
Saints games are fun to go to! There is so much tradition that is behind everything that is done at the game. It is fun to look around and guess at the people that come to every game! And those that have been coming for years. The food is great. The atmosphere is so much fun! And usually the baseball isn't too bad either! It is especially fun to go as a group!
ReRetreat is a wonderful place to getaway. They have a great setup for cropping. Large tables, tons of light, a computer with fonts, and some scrapbooking supplies make the basement a perfect crop room. The house is decorated totally shabby chic and looks so cute. There is an outdoor pool that can be used when it is warm out. The food is provided which is nice because you can scrapbook without stopping to cook. We had a really fun time and will probably return!
I have had great experiences at Kinko's. The people working are always friendly and helpful. They know their product and what they do well. One time I happened to have something done that wasn't done properly and they redid it for me with no questions asked. I was highly impressed and would take any other copying/laminating jobs back there.
Red Door has a wide variety of services they offer. The atmosphere is very relaxing. They do a great job of making you feel as though you are in a very relaxing place and you are the most special person in the world. The hot stone massages are wonderful! The massage therapists there are very friendly and don't try to talk the entire time they are working. It is a great environment!
We LOVE the swan! We love that you can stay on site at Disney, without a car, and not go broke! We love that you can get a heavenly bed while being on site at Disney also. The Swan is the only place that can happen! It is SO close to all of the Disney action and you get free transportation. The Swan is on the lake with the boardwalk and all of it's fabulous restaurants! The Swan shares a pool with the Dolphin. It is a very nice pool and I'm sure in the summer is wonderful! However, in October it was a bit chilly to be in. We still return though!
This resort is just magical. It is rare that you get to look our your hotel window and see Cinderella's castle. Or that you open your door to find a monorail going through the middle of your hotel! The rooms are a good size and perfect for a family. The concierge level has a ton to offer and is a fun addition to a vacation. At the Contemporary you find Chef Mickey's which is the most fun restaurant on all of Disney Property! We love the Contemporary. It is yet another of Disney's incredibly magic hotels!
The manmade lake at Lake Elmo is great for families. Little kids love that they have an entire lake that they can wade through. Plus they have tons of sand they can play in! Lake Elmo is beautiful! Imagine a nice lake with NO SEAWEED!! WOO HOO!! Plus, they have a really nice park right across from the lake!
Har Mar Mall has a few good things going for it. It's fun to be able to shop a little and then go catch a movie. Har Mar is made up of mostly specialty shops. Barnes and Noble and Northwestern Bookstore both have a ton of good things to look at. There is also a fairly good scrapbook store. Those few stores are what keep Har Mar going in my opinion. It's a good place to stop quick - not necessarily shop.
