This is the only place to buy kites in my opinion. Their selection can't be beat and prices are fantastic. The only problem is that there are so many great choices that it takes awhile to narrow it down.
Everyone at this store is helpful and nice. If you need help learning how to fly a kite or have other questions, they are more than willing to help you.
After walking by Esthers Follies for years and seeing everyone laughing really hard through the windows, we finally decided to go ourselves. It was such a fun time and the only regret we have is that we didn't go sooner.
This is a great place to take those guests you can't figure out what to do to entertain them. Everyone will have a blast and it will be an evening that you will always remember!
For the person who wants a beautifully decorated garden or patio and likes to entertain guests outside, this a great store. They have all the accessories and decorative items that will need to give your backyard a stunning look. They also have gardening tools and even a large selection of indoor decorative items that will impress anyone.
The employees are always friendly and helpful. They have wonderful clearance items, but their regular retail prices are pretty good.
This is difficult review to write, but even though our story isn't the greatest DO ADOPT the pets living here and save them!
We adopted our Cocker Spaniel from this facility and were very shocked at the condition we found him in. He did NOT deserve to be treated so inhumane.
He had matts the size of softballs, no embelishing there. We had to call an emergency groomer to come to our home to shave him down because he had a stinch that our neighbors could smell next door. He could barely walk because his legs were matted to his body. It took 6 hours to get all the matts cut out & shaved down and that is with us helping her.
We didn't realize it until he was all shaven, that the long tail we thought he had -- was just a tail of matts!
The cage he lived in was so small that his nose and tail were pressed against the sides. He could not move at all. Not a pleasant sight. I don't know how he managed to eat.
They had given up on him since he was in there for 3 weeks or so. They were going to put him down the next day. Had they bathed and groomed this poor puppy, he would have been adopted a lot sooner.
What really upset us, was that the volunteer/employee actually said he was "shocked" that we were going to adopt him. I asked him when the last time he was outside his cage and he said I don't know a couple of days. Well, that must've been the truth because fecal matter was all in his coat.
His treatment is NOT acceptable even if the woman in charge apologized over and over again for his condition. I don't care if you are embarassed, this should NOT have occured especially at a Humane Society. You had him 3 weeks!!
Please do NOT take your adopted animal back here for their spaying or neutering BUT DO adopt them!! Take them to a Vet Clinic where you're assured a sterile environment. Our dog was newly professionally groomed yet he came back from his neutering surgery covered in feces. He also sufferd major issues and had to go to a Vet for medical care.
This is a nice facility, BUT they have not impressed us with the medical care for our animals. First off, we adopted a Cocker Spaniel from the Humane Society who has an undiagnosed eye problem. There is a mass on his eye, so they took a tissue sample of it to get is analyzed in College Station. Well, the report came back with nothing according to one Vet there. I decided I wanted a copy of that report and guess what it read -- the tissue sample was not done correctly so it couldn't be tested! They should have told us that, our poor dog has a terrible looking eye because of this and they didn't even admit to an error. They let us think that there was nothing wrong!
The next thing is that even though we submitted all his paperwork about his shot history, they treated us like we forged his information. They said that they needed to call and verify that we actually got the shots that we said we did, because we could be using our other dogs paperwork as his. We care way to much about our 3 Cocker Spaniels to ever think about doing this.
This is also one of the biggest nickle and dime clinics I have been to. We have talked to several other pet owners and they all say the same thing. You won't walk out without paying for some test, medication or special food. They make you feel like a subpar pet owner unless you buy buy buy.
We switched to another vet clinic and they are wonderful. We had an issue with our belated cat, that BlockHouse Creek animal clinic could never diagnose but charged us over and over without any results. Well, the first visit to the new clinic -- we had our answer! Diabetes.
I am sure that some people love this clinic, but we have had a lot more negative things happen than what is stated above and found better fit elsewhere.
This place is awesome and even though I am not one who enjoys playing games, this was great fun. The bar is a nice touch and the food was pretty good. Please know that we were given a ton of gift cards, so we didn't really pay attention to pricing. Lucky Us!
It can get really busy at times, but we never had any issues with finding available games. This is definitely a place where you take older kids, because really there are too many people in my opinion for little ones to be safe. Maybe I am just an overprotective Mother.
This isn't your average in the mall arcade -- more like an amusement park! Tons of fun!
There were four of us who paid for a balloon ride, we never actually got off the ground. The phone number they give you to talk to your pilot, is just a answering machine. We never got to talk to an actual person except the person in Canada taking our money when we made a reservation.
They don't call you the morning of your flight to tell you if you are actually going to fly out -- no, that would be to much customer service! "You" have to call an answering machine.
If they cancel your flight which happened several times to us -- the other couple lived 3.5 hours away and drove in the night before each time -- you have to call Canada to reschedule. No, not once did we speak to anyone locally even if the phone number is 512!
It was all such a hassle and ruined the whole dream of being in a hot air balloon. They refused to refund our money even though this entire situation went on for "months". We ended up disputing it with our credit card company and they gave us our money back.
There has to be a better company to do this with. This was in 2002 and we still haven't attempted another company. That should tell you that this was a horrible experience.
My husband wants me to add, that we received several cancellations statinf that the weather was too bad to fly. Yet, the weather was beautiful and there were other hot air balloons flying those days. There is nothing more disappointing to see other hot air balloons flying when your flight was cancelled. We don't think they actually had a pilot to fly us because the weather was "never" good according to them.
Large wallpapered rooms with ceiling fans and web-camera monitoring through the Internet. Treats, two playtimes, leashwalks, plush comforter bedding and food included in daily rates. That is their luxury dog boarding suite.
This is a great place to board your four-legged family members when you absolutely have to leave them while you are out-of-town. The "resort" is a great looking place and you will feel good about your decision.
The only problem you may encounter, they might not want to come back home after living in such luxury. (Ha Ha)
Actually, this is the only boarding facility in my area that I would board my dogs. The staff members seem like they have a true love for animals and treat all their guests like they are their own.
Their cat boarding area is quite awesome also.
They also have daytime day care for pets, which is great for those family pets who do get lonely.
A fire is a very emotional, stressful and overwhelming event. It does happen quite often and without any warning.
When our home was struck by lightning, we were lost in what steps to take after the fire department left. It is almost too much to think about. You must remain level headed and select the best company to trust in restoring your home and taking care of your personal belongings.
Some insurance companies do not work 24/7, so you really are left in the dark in the steps to take next until your insurance adjuster contacts you. I believe that everyone should already have a plan of action should such an unfortunate event occur.
Blackmon Mooring Steamatic is a highly reputable company and has been in the business for many years. I think it is something like 50 yrs, but I am not positive. I have met several people who have used them for fire damage restoration, and I have had experience with this company doing other work on my home. They are on my to call list.
They offer 24 hour service in order to protect further damage to your home and belongings. They also send out highly trained disaster recover specialists to most fires before you even think about calling anyone. This is a wonderful service because it takes some of the stress away from you.
They have a great page on their web site showing the restoration steps they do after a fire. I am actually shocked that they can actually save some of the things they do after a fire.
I am writing this review based on my observations of the art work I have seen of the children and adults that have been or are current students of the Art Center of Cedar Park.
They artistic abilities of the children is what really impresses me. It was often times difficult for me to fully grasp that an certain piece was created by a 6 year old and NOT an adult or older teen.
The instructors must be sensational because their students works are breathless. I looked up their rates online and wow, they are very affordable. All pricing includes supplies, almost hard to believe. I will definitely be enrolling my son when he is old enough. They have a 4:1 ratio which was a lot lower than I would have suspected.
