This Chevron is conveniently located on the northwest corner of Horizon Ridge Pkwy and Green Valley Pkwy and is not too far away from the I-215 beltway (about a mile or so south of the beltway on Green Valley Pkwy).
There are a lot of gas pumps available at this gas station, so you won't have to wait too long if there are others in front of you. The convenience store is a decent size as well, so you can pick up those drinks or snacks for the ride ahead.
However, the only thing that this Chevron doesn't have is a car wash, but you can go to the Chevron on Eastern Avenue (just south of I-215) for that if need be.
This Best Western is the best place to stay while you're in the Moses Lake area. It is the only 3 star hotel/motel in the area for a reason. It is located right off of I-90 and immediately adjacent to Moses Lake itself.
Other features include:
1. Outdoor pool
2. Small fitness center with spa
3. On-site restaurant with available (albeit limited) room service
4. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel
5. Rooms with jacuzzis are available
6. Boat dock right off of Moses Lake
No other hotel/motel in Moses Lake can come close to offering what this Best Western does. Also, this is a "Best Western Hallmark Inn" and not the "Best Western Coeur Dalene Inn."
The Nakata Market of Japan carries a decent selection of Japanese foods compared with anything else that you would find in the Las Vegas Valley. Sure there are stores like the 99 Ranch Market or the International Market that you could go to, but those stores carry a lot more than just Japanese foods.
You're not going to find the selection that you would see in other stores in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Seattle, but it's still a good place to get some good Japanese snacks, treats and other foods.
Yep, for most hospitals there is usually a long wait in the emergency room for most who visit, and this ER is no different at the St Rose Dominican Hospital - Siena Campus.
We had taken our son here a while back because of a sudden rash and fever that he had which was diagnosed in this hospital as roseola. However, this diagnosis took forever (several hours) as the staff would want to do something like get his blood etc. and then disappear for a half hour or so.
Our visit took well over three hours in this ER which wouldn't have been too bad besides the fact that it was well past midnight.....and our son was extremely tired.
CONS: Be prepared to wait......and wait!
This Wild Oats Market is located on Warm Springs Road & Stephanie Street in Henderson, NV. It offers you a decent selection of healthy and organic foods such as organic produce, gluten-free foods, dairy-free foods, herbs & supplements, etc......much more than what you would find in an ordinary grocery store.
However, you'll find a much better selection at the Whole Foods Market in the Peccole Ranch/Summerlin area as it is twice as large, and there is a new Whole Foods Market under construction at Green Valley & I-215 which will be opening in early 2006!
Well, as our family was visiting some of my wife's relatives in the Moses Lake, WA, we needed to spend one night in a hotel/motel in the area.
For some reason a lot of the rooms in Moses Lake, WA were sold out, so we wound up booking a room at the Super 8 on Expedia.com.
Once we arrived in Moses Lake, we decided to check-in to our room. Unfortunately, by the time that we had decided to check-in.....which was an early 1pm, we were told that our "non-smoking" room that we had booked was no longer available as all they had were "smoking" rooms left. Do they not pay attention to their room reservations???
As my wife is very sensitive to smoke, we decided to try our luck elsewhere.
This Exxon gas station is in a good and bad location. It is just south of the 512 highway, and it's easy to get into this gas station if you are going south on Pacific Avenue. It's also located right next to a McDonald's and in front of a QFC grocery store.
However, if you are going north on Pacific Avenue, it is going to be a little more tricky as it is not located at an intersection, and since traffic on Pacific Avenue is always heavy, you'd be better served by going to the Chevron on the other side of the highway instead as it has much better access to the street.
We took our son to this Karate for Kids location about a year ago and signed him up for a session....although the uniforms (gi) are not included in the price, so you'll have to pay for those as well.
Anyhow, our son never really got comfortable in the class after several times where we would try to coax him into going out there on the mat and participating. So, our account was put on hold until a later time to see if he would participate then.
However, before we could go back we would up moving to Washington, so we, therefore, couldn't use Karate for Kids anymore. But if you do need to cancel, be sure to contact them as you can pay a cancellation charge to get out of the remainder of the contract.
This Holiday Inn is actually a Holiday Inn Express and is located right off of the I-5 highway in Grants Pass, OR. Yep, I was driving late at night on I-5 trying to get to Seattle, WA and after passing Medford, OR I wasn't sure where I was going to stay as I was getting a little tired.
But then came Grants Pass, OR, and I decided on the Holiday Inn Express. A Best Western is right next door as is an Elmer's Restaurant as well. In the immediate area you'll find a Wal-Mart Supercenter, Taco Bell, Applebee's, McDonald's, Subway, etc.
My room was nice and clean as was the entire property really. One of the best features for the Holiday Inn Expresses is that most offer free Wi-Fi, so I could check on my e-mails from my laptop. Also, their Express Start Breakfast Bar is definitely a great way to start your day with cinammon rolls, cereals, bread/pastries, hard boiled eggs, fruit, coffee and juice.
The room cost me about $101 for the night......sure a little expensive, but I didn't mind as it was a lot better than a Motel 6, Travelodge, etc.
PROS: Free Wi-Fi and Express Start Breakfast Bar.
CONS: A little on the pricey side for a roadside motel.
I used to go to this Beauty World a lot to get my eyebrows waxed and trimmed. The aesthetician that I went to did a great job and was very friendly, but alas, after her pregnancy she stopped doing waxing services and down went the quality of the work. All it took was just one visit to another aesthetician there who did kind of an OK job, but still left me to clean up (as in break out the tweezers at home).
I also have gone there for a massage from my favorite therapist who can give you a really good deep tissue massage to work out those knots, but she has since moved on as well, although I have followed her to her new digs.
So, I guess that it depends on finding the right stylist/therapist and sticking with them.....otherwise, the results could be up in the air.
