This is a very kid-friendly place with video games, bumper boats, and miniature golf. You can even have a birthday party there. The kids can play games and earn tickets to turn in for prizes. This is a great place to spend a Saturday afternoon without spending too much money. The only drawback is that there is not much for little kids to do.
La Paloma Resort & Spa is an amazing relaxation spot in the heart of the Foothills. It has amazing moutain views and its lobby and lounge area are just beautiful. It is also kid-friendly, with an inviting pool. The rooms are very nice, and the restaurant has great food. They also sometimes have a piano player in the lounge which gives a nice atmosphere.
The atmosphere is always casual and energetic. It can be intimidating when you first walk into Moon Smoke Shop but the people who work there are very friendly. Even the people who shop there are willing to help. They have an array of products, something for everyone. It is great to go there to just browse around or if you are looking for something specific.
The selection of furniture at Cophenhagen is vast. They have everything from table and chair sets to office furniture. The sales staff is friendly but not pushy. In fact, sometimes it is hard to find a salesperson. The prices are pretty high compared to most furniture stores but the quality is exceptional.
The agent we used to list our home works for Coldwell Banker. She was very excited in the beginning to list our home, but after we signed the contract, she started to ignore our phone calls and she didn't fulfill the promises she made regarding the advertising she would do for our house. I would not recommend this company based on the agent we used.
Long Realty has a beautiful office on River/Campbell. The agents I have dealth with from this office seem very knowledgeable and willing to help. However, some of the busier agents also seem to not want to return messages or follow-up if you have questions about one of their listings Also, the receptionists are never very friendly when they answer the phone and don't seem to want to help.
Foothills Mall has many stores, restaurants, and even a movie theater. Many of the stores are outlet stores, such as the Nike Outlet and the Dress Barn Outlet. This is a great place to just walk around and there are also good bargains at the stores. The restaurants are very good. The mall is not usually too crowded, except during the holidays.
Sam Levitz Clearance Center is separate from the actual furniture store. There are very few salespeople in this area. There is also little selection. The prices are not that much lower than the full-priced furniture so it doesnt seem like you are getting much of a deal. There are also a lot of floor models that can be purchased but many of them looked pretty worn out.
The staff and the Legends at La Paloma are very friendly and helpful. The interior of the office is just gorgeous, and the clubhouse is perfect for holding parties. The apartments are in good condition and the layout is very convenient. The apartment building is gated. The pool has a lovely water treatment. Overall, a very quiet community in the center of the Foothills.
La Encantada Shopping Center is a classy mall that features an outside walking area full of water treatments, plants, and flowers. There are many wonderful restaurants such as Blue Point, North, and Ra. There is Aj's, an upscale supermarket. And of course, there is awesome shopping, with Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, and Bebe, just to name a few.
