Good Samaritan Hospital
They just updated/expanded their L&D and mother/baby rooms. My old complaint about my stay was that you have to call to order your meals and wait 45 minutes to receive them. I waited 15 minutes on hold with them and ended up ordering all my meals for the day. Otherwise my stay was a good experience
Safeway
This is an ok place to shop if you need to run in for one item. The last few times I was in there I walked out because they didn't have the items I went there for.
Baskin-Robbins
I have had good service and bad service at this location. They tend to make the ice cream smaller if they are in a hurry or just being lazy. If you want ice cream fast then this would be the place. They are usually not very busy.
Alta Vista Elementary School
This is a great school located in Los Gatos but not in the Los Gatos school district. i feel this school is not critical of the students and does not demand money from the parents like the other Los Gatos schools do. They have more field trips than the schools in the Los Gatos school district and the people are not stuck up.
Starbucks
This is one of the bigger Starbucks we have in the area and I do go to most of them. Many people meet up there not just teens. The staff are friendly and get to know your order if you go there all the time. You can also just sit back and read the paper or work on the computer in their large dining area
Sur La Table
They have everything you would ever need or want for your kitchen. The prices are reasonable and they do have sales once in a while. I tend to only go there when I need something otherwise you could buy it all.
Peppertree School-Los Gatos
My son has gone here for several summers and really enjoys it. They take the kids on 1-2 field trips a week not including trips to the local park. They also have a theme for each week.
Blossom Hill Club House
I would not recommend this after school daycare. We had numerous problems for example: they lost my son at the San Francisco Zoo on his birthday and didn't bother to tell us. When we did ask them about it they blamed it on my son. Also the staff is too young to be caring for other children. We had problems with one of the staff members and ended up taking my son out.
