Kindercare Learning Center

Daycare is so expensive and can be so stressful for a parent. My son started atteending this place when he was 2 years old and I was a little nervous about it. He ended up loving it. The teachers there were so sweet and always made sure he was happy and comfortable and so he didn't even care when I would leave him there. He really learned a lot which was an added bonus in my opinion. They were very good about keeping me up to date about how things were going and what kind of day he had.

Croce's Restaurant And Jazz Bar

This restaurant/nightclub is in the gaslamp district and has a great atmosphere. I have walked by many times and it always seems like everyone is having a great time. We went for an early dinner, so there were not a lot of people there or around but the food was very good, the drinks were fantastic and the service was great. The menu is a little pricey, but most restaurants downtown are. I would like to go back at night sometime because like I said, people always seem to be having so much fun in there at night and I know there is live music.

Picket Fences Childrens Resale

It can be so expensive to raise a child - save yourself some money and do some of your shopping here. They have a nice selection of used childrens clothes, toys, etc and the prices are pretty good. I do have to say that some of the pricing seems erratic - I have seen some items I think thay are overcharging for - but it is still always less than retail. Bargains are to be had here, you just may have to search a little!

Little Kids Wear

The clothing here is definitely the dress up clothes you would need for your kids to wear to or in a wedding or a baptism. If you are looking for a flower girl dress or a baptism outfit then this is definitely the place you would want to shop. The prices are very good, some of the outfits are tacky, but most of them are pretty classic and classy.

I found this place to be small and it didn't seem very clean or organized. It was a headache just to go through the clothes and I got frustrated right away. When I did find an item I liked, I couldn't believe how overpriced it was!! I know these are vintage clothes - but come on! Some people may feel that the items are worth the price, but I definitely did not feel this way!

Matty's Tailor Shop

The people who own this shop are so sweet and seem to be able to do just about anything you ask of them in no time at all. I like the personalized service and the way they really are able to meet your needs - whatever they are. The prices are very low and they go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied!

Telegraph Canyon Animal Medical Center

I have always been very happy with the care my dog has received here. The staff will go out of their way to make sure your pet is comfortable and at ease before performing any procedures. The office is comfortable and the prices are decent. They are great about sending reminders out in the mail for procedures my dog needs as well.

The people were fairly nice but didn't seem to go out of their way to help me out, the selection was good but not better than what I have seen at other vision care centers. The pricing was comparable to other centers as well. I might go back here if it was the most convenient option, but if I had a choice I would probably check out another place to see if I got service that went above and beyond.

Body Beautiful Car Wash & Auto

There are several options of washes and detailing that you can get done here - I pretty much went all out because my car was filthy! When they were done with my car, it looked almost new! I was shocked at how detailed they were in cleaning it out on the inside as well as outside. It was spic and span when I got it back which would have been impossible for me to do myself. It was a little pricey, but worth it to get into my nice clean car!

Mercy Medical Building

I delivered my son here at this hospital many years ago. I would have to say that the people were fairly nice and I had no bad experiences but I also did not feel that they did anything oustanding that would cause me to recommend them at all. Given a choice, I would pick another hospital - if you are stuck with this hospital then it could be worse.

PROS: Okay experience
CONS: nothing outstanding about them
