Great for a walk-in manicure and pedicure. Small shop with more personalized service which is a change from the factory line shops. Parking is a problem since it's in downtown Evanston.

Not only does this museum have a wonderful permanent collection(Impressionists, modern art, etc.) they have excellent special exhibits where it's a big advantage to be a member. Their restaurants are good, particularly their outdoor garden, one of my favorite summer places.

Went to a hair stylist here for almost 30 years and found the salon friendly and efficient. Alas, he retired and I didn't want to make the trip any longer, but would still recommend the salon. It is a full service salon and spa, offering the full range of services, manicure, pedicure, make-up, hair coloring and styling, etc. In addition they have a boutique which always has some interesting items.

Good prices are available for products but the selection is limited as is service. I always know what I want when I go in but sometimes there are other things on sale.

This store offers a great variety of products from Maybelline to high end cosmetics and you can always find a coupon in the paper for a minimal discount. Sometimes it's difficult to find a knowledgeable person to help you, but the variety and prices keep me going back. They also offer salon services, but I know people who have not had good experiences there.
Bob Wells - State Farm Insurance Agent
The secretary seems to do all the work and she does a fine job. I get my yearly calendar. All insurance questions go through State Farm so they seem to have little to do and not much contact with me. When there is any contact it seems to be related to selling you more insurance. Too bad State Farm has to go through agents.

I've been seeing Dr. Berlin for 25 years and feel that I get a high level of personal eye care. He handles everything related to your eyes from contact lens to disease and he's very well-trained and professional. I feel that not only is vision addressed but general health care as observed through the eye is also taken care of.

You don't need to have a family of eight to shop here. There are many things you can buy in bulk and freeze or store and the prices are worth it. Books, clothing and children's toys are also a bargain.

After efficiently installing a garage door purchased elsewhere, Makuch provides excellent follow-up service when needed. Prices are reasonable and the job is done well. Service is personalized and if there are any complaints, the owner follows up personally and corrects any concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.
