I can't say enough good stuff about these guys. They rocked! They were brothers and they took everything! They showed up on time, took just an hour for lunch and made sure nothing got left behind. We had a couple of boxes that didn't have lids and it wasn't an issue to them. They did a great job handling our furniture, nothing was scratched up, nor did anything get broken. They got the move done in a timely fashion, their prices were good and nobody was moaning or groaning. Definately a pleasure to deal with!!
Trimark's parent company is DR Horton. They build condos and townhomes. In traditional DR Horton-fashion, the townhomes can have all the little bells and whistles the houses do. The townhomes can be very spacious and can come with winding staircases, walk-out basements, arched windows, lofts, oval tubs, 5 piece baths etc. Trimark is easy to deal with. If you have questions or issues, they are good at either taking your call or giving you a call back. If you buy a pre-owned home, they are also good at providing previous spec information on the home.
Michael Butcher the owner, is awesome to deal with. We have used his services several times and he has never failed to get us a good rate. We have recommended him to friends and they too were very pleased with the services he provides. Michael is very knowledgeable about the different mortgage programs and he also is very good at getting your paperwork in good order in a short amount of time. He was also more than willing to talk to us during non-business hours. He goes the the extra mile for you.
Cherry Creek Reservoir is located across from Cherry Creek High School. You can either buy a daily pass or use a park pass to access the park. They offer a beach, boating, walking trails and you can have a catered event there. With boating-you can either bring your own or rent their's. They have sailboats, speed boats, wave runners etc. The boating lessons are fun, but tend to be a little on the expensive-side. Going with a group is a good way to defray some of the costs.
Benny's is one of our favorite mexican restaurants. They are located at 7th and Grant in downtown Denver. They have a parking lot on the west-side of Grant, just north of 7th. They offer a varied menu with several vegetarian dishes. They provide a non-smoking environment plus there is patio dining. The service is good and the wait staff is friendly. They offer combination meals and some pretty tasty sopapillas. Their margaritas are good too and can be ordered by the carafe!
Here's a fun place to go shop and browse. Isabella Grape is located in downtown Southport. They have a lot of vintage clothing, plus they sell Onex shoes, hand/facial cremes, stuffed animals with sport logo's, americana trinquets, candles, garden art and more. Their prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. They maybe closed on Sunday's-call to check for their hours of operation. Happy shopping!
PJ's restaurant is located in an old gas station in downtown Southport. They serve american food southern-style. The wait staff is very nice and the food is quite good. You definately can't beat the prices. They offer both non-smoking and smoking areas. The restaurant is clean and can get very busy. If you want some down-home cooking, this is the place to go. Don't forget to order their keylime pie!
Cedar Point is a large amusement park located on the banks of Lake Erie. They have 16 rollercoasters and a large kiddie area. They offer a lot of different kind of thrill rides along with the traditional ferris wheel, bumper cars, log ride, swings, a skyride etc. On there website, you can try to win free tickets. You can purchase season passes, an all day pass, a twilight pass and some kiddy passes. They also provide shows. If you go, make sure you wear comfortable shoes. It's a lot of walking.
The reason I wouldn't recommend Handyman Connection is because I feel their prices for their services are totally outrageous. Part of this might have been my fault for the handyman had come out beforehand to price the work I needed done. I needed new washes dropped into my kitchen faucet. Originally he had talked me into replacing the whole faucet. When he came out the 2nd time to perform the work, I had changed my mind and just wanted the washers replaced. He charged me $175 to drop in 2 washers that took all of 5 minutes to complete. I was able to get the company to refund $50, but I still felt $125 for work that took 5 minutes was just plain nuts.
This retirement and assisted living facility is located off Hampden down by Swedish and Porter Hospitals. It's a very nice facility with apartments located in the top 1/2 of the building and then if your loved one needs 24 hour care, there are rooms located in the bottom 1/2 of the building. They provide a good eating facility, daily activities, an onsite library, haircare and trips to the grocery store. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and nicely decorated. They are expensive but provided excellent care for one of our loved ones.
