A cool little alternative to Goodwill or the VV. This place has a little of everything and is locally run. It's been around for 20+ years and everyone here is so friendly. Much of their profits go to family renewal shelters and teen counseling centers so you know you're contribution positively to the community when you shop and buy here.
PROS: Good people, selection.
A nice little small town style theater in the heart of downtown Puyallup. My friend recently had a wedding here and it worked very well as a venue for this type of event. It's got a very 1930's feel to it and has wonderful personality. It's available to be rented out and there are often sweet local shows here
PROS: Unique atmosphere, good prices.
A classy bike shop with small town personality. If you need specialty parts or duties performed on your bike, this is the place to go. It's located in the heart of downtown and features some of the newst and sweetest bikes on the market this year. The staff and bike techs here are easy to talk to and cater to your every need.
PROS: Selection of bikes, tech staff.
I went in here looking for some parts and hardware to fix a broken door and these people were extremely helpful and courteous. I'll certainly go here again even though the prices are a tad bit high for what they're selling. Get here if you need anything for your home, garden, office, or car that involves hardware.
PROS: Awesome selection, good people.
I came to Greg's last year with a friend in need. He had a Toyota in desperate need of some repairs and we had gotten estimates all over town. Greg's offered to repair the car for 25% less than anyone else, and in less time. The quality of their work did not suffer one bit either! Get to Greg's for your Japanese Auto needs.
PROS: Great service, great work, very friendly people.
Greg's is one of the best and most complete bike shops I've been to in a long time! If you need a bike or service, get here and you'll get some of the region's best! Greg's has some of Seattle's best mechanics and are willing to answer your questions. It's a tad on the spendy side but that's to be expected when you're so close to downtown.
Hoot is the MAN! He used to be a pilot with the Air Force Thunderbirds (The AF's Blue Angels) and is a very sharp cookie. He offered my family AWESOME service and was very easy to talk to and get through to. He's a Tucson local and knows his way around town as well as the surrounding desert properties. Get in touch with him if you're looking to invest in some property in the local area
PROS: Very friendly and helpful, willing to go the extra mile.
A great place to get an indie film or just an old b&w classic. They have just about everything there and some great rarities too. You can request films to be added to their catalogue which usually come after a week or so. The staff is very friendly and the films cost about $2-$3 to rent.
PROS: Lots of obscure, foreign, and indie films for rent. Nice staff. Cheap.
Come here for everything REI and Patagucci don't have! What a wonderful climbing store! Ice, rock, mountain, any kind of climbing, you can get the gear and advice you need here. Lots of backcountry gear and skis as well. Prices are average for high end retail goods and the service and knowledge is excellent
PROS: Great advice and gear.
This place has certain gifts and products you can't get anywhere else! I go here for different lotions and bath bombs that are way better than anything store-bought. This is where many different people come to exhibit their goods and talk to everyone else. Get here and find some new favorites for yourself.
PROS: Lots of exhibitors, cozy building.
