Corfit touts itself as a therapeutic spa, so don't expect a lot of luxury and pampering. It's housed in a complex right near the freeway and there's a lot of freeway noise in the treatment rooms. The whole complex looks like some kind of office park or doctor's office, but at least parking is easy to find.
The spa waiting room is tiny as are the treatment rooms. Massages are well-done here, but you need to specify that you want relaxation or the therapists will talk to you the entire time. (A pet peeve of mine.)
They have specials for first-time customers, which makes trying them out a pretty good deal. You can also buy packages of massages to save money.
Not bad, but not a pampering experience like some of the other high-end spas in the area.
InSpa has great prices for all their spa services and a no-tipping policy. While the environment is clean and the staff are friendly, it's definitely not a luxurious salon.
It's a great place to get a manicure, pedicure or waxing if you just want to get done and get out. I've had varying results with the nail techs - some are good and some are not so great.
They also have gift certificates which make a nice inexpensive gift for folks who aren't used to getting these kinds of services done.
Parking is easy to find both at the U Village and Bellevue Square locations.
Having walked past this store downtown several times, I decided one day to go inside. They carry a lot of designer labels that are hard to find and the store is quite attractive.
However, there's a seriously snooty attitude going on in here, especially if you decide to browse the sale racks and aren't dressed to the nines. As a size 12, I felt a bit out of place as most of the display clothes are teeny-tiny (like size 0) and the staff wasn't exactly friendly and inviting, so I didn't want to ask for bigger sizes.
Prices are expensive, but not any more than other places with comparable merchandise. Parking is extremely difficult to find as this store is very close to Pike Place Market and in a busy part of downtown Seattle.
This is an excellent luxury spa and a place to really treat yourself. The staff is friendly, the spa is quiet and luxurious and the services are done well.
I've had a brow wax, manicure and pedicure here multiple times in preparation for special events, and the results were always stunning. The nail technicians are some of the best I've been too, and I still remember a particular manicure I got for a Christmas party - the tech suggested doing a "French" manicure with a couple of shades of silver polish - very festive, and I got a lot of compliments.
Parking may be a bit difficult as it is right downtown.
PROS: near many hotels downtown, wold class service
CONS: difficult to find parking
This review is for the miniature golf course only, as I've never played at the real course. This mini-golf course is very tasteful and a fun outing for adults looking for something different to do. When I've been there it hasn't been overrun with children, nor has it been very crowded, even during the day on weekends.
Prices are very reasonable, and parking is easy to find in the large parking lot.
I've been a patient here since 1998, and have had a few different doctors, and all of them have been excellent. The entire practice is made up of women, which leads to a very comfortable, nurturing atmosphere. I had some minor surgery there, and they made the experience as pleasant as it possibly could be. They understand that these doctor's visits are usually unpleasant and make the extra effort to put you at ease.
I've rarely had to wait more than 10 minutes to get into my appointment, and I'm usually in and out of there within 45 minutes, which is much better than most doctor's offices I've been to.
Parking is easy to find, as there is a huge parking garage for Evergreen Hospital. The hospital itself is right off the 405 freeway and easy to get to.
PROS: excellent staff, wonderful atmosphere, good location
I've taken several watches to this store for new batteries, a new strap, and one for repair due to strange behavior. The staff is very helpful, knowledgable and quick. Prices are very reasonable for batteries and they all come with a 1 year warranty, which is quite impressive. Everytime I've been there, I haven't had to wait more than 15 minutes to get everything done.
Parking is easy to find, as it's in a shopping center.
We worked with Drake Dornfeld at Liberty Financial to buy our house in January 2004. It was a painless experience - we only had to meet with him a few times and got everything done. He explained the different kinds of mortgages very well, and didn't try to "sell" us more than we wanted, or weird plans, or anything. We chose Liberty because I had a deal through work, but were very glad using their services. Drake returned our calls and emails promptly and the paperwork was prepared efficiently.
We had to get some laundry done right after moving to the area and I noticed this cleaner while driving to work. They did a good job, but their prices are very high, possibly due to their proximity to Microsoft. They also weren't very fast, for the high prices they charged.
Nothing special here - no great service or facilities that would make it worth going back. There are definitely better cleaners in the area.
I picked Dr Joseph at random because I was looking for a female physician, and was lucky to get a great doctor. She is easy to talk to, doesn't seem rushed, and wants to get down to the bottom of an issue if it's a concern for you.
Appointments are fairly easy to get, even at the last minute. The office has an XRay machine on site, so if you need simple Xrays you can get them done there instead of going elsewhere. Same is true for getting blood drawn.
Parking is easy to find. I usually haven't had to wait more than 15 minutes in the waiting room when I have an appointment. They usually have a few newspapers in the waiting room, along with the usual magazines, so this makes the time pass faster.
PROS: good location, Dr. Joseph is a great doctor
