This is one of the friendliest banks in town. Whenever you call or just walk in, they are always smiling and willing to help you in any way that they can. They also have a variety of services available which makes it nice since you have a one stop shop for mortgage loans, car insurance, investments and bank accounts.
Westend Car Wash
Great place to clean your car if you don't want to do it at home. It's fast, cheap and so easy. They have 4 or 5 bays so there's hardly ever a waiting line. Plus, they're open all year round and have heated bays so you can wash your vehicle in the winter months.
The Naked Dish
This is one place where you can really get creative! You basically pick a pottery piece from the shelf and decorate it anyway you want. They have everything you need to paint your piece. They even have books you can browse to find the perfect design. A great place to go if you want to give the one of a kind gift.
Ellis Appliances & Services Co Inc
We purchased all new appliances from this business and they were cheaper than anyone in the area for the same brand and model. They carry mainly Amana appliances, which is a top notch brand of appliances. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. There was no problem with the delivery estimates or the installation of the appliances.
Jaeger Plumbing & Pump Inc
This company is wonderful to work with. Whenever we had a problem with anything they installed, they were more than willing to do whatever they could to make the situation right. If it was a simple fix, they even ordered the parts and let us fix the problem so we wouldn't have to pay hourly fees.
Cliff Stock Photography
This photographer does my kids' school pictures and he's wonderful. Very nice and helpful. He does a great job capturing the right image. In fact, I submitted one of the pictures he took into a contest and he had no problem signing the copyright waiver. And he's affordable compared to other photographers in the area.
Birchwood Golf Course
This 9-hole golf course is a little out of the way but definitely one worth trying. The view of the Mississippi River is breathtaking and the course is very nice and a little challenging. Plus, it is very affordable and the "clubhouse" is a great place to grab a drink with your golfing buddies.
Lacoma Golf Course
This golf club has 1 18-hole golf course, 2 9-hole courses, and 1 par 3 course. The greens are usually in good shape. The course is nested among the hills along the Mississippi River which makes for a very nice view while you're waiting to tee up. Affordable prices and a short drive from Dubuque.
Meadows
This beautiful golf course is surrounded by gorgeous homes and rolling meadows. The course itself is always in great shape. The staff is wonderful and will even bring your cart to you and put your bags on it. It is a pretty challenging course to play, but definitely a lot of fun. I wouldn't recommend walking this course because it is hilly and long.
Isodisc
We recently switched to this company for all our CD duplicating and they are wonderful to work with. They have a very knowledgeable and experienced staff. If there is a problem, they respond immediately (usually within a few hours not days). They are also competitively priced. The work they do is far better than what we had with a previous CD duplicator.
