Pipe Rite Plumbing and Heating is a family run business, and it truly shows in the service and workmanship. When a pipe burst in my basement, I immediately called Pipe Rite, as they came highly recommended by my friends. The plumbers came out right away (within two hours of my phone call), and fixed the problem. I thought that the bill was going to be through the roof (for this "emergency"), but the price ended up being more reasonable than even the least expensive plumbers. I would highly recommend Pipe Rite.
St. Timothy's Episcopal Church is a wonderful school for small children. The teachers are very caring and attentive. They provide a very safe atmosphere for learning and fun. My belief that only children of the Espiscopalian religion could attend, turned out to be untrue. They accept any and all children regardless of religion, and don't discriminate against those that are not of the same religion. The activities aren't religiously focused. Great school, and wonderful teachers. Would highly recommend.
The downtown Baltimore Child Care Incorporated facility is one of the top notch centers in the state. The teachers are very attentive to the needs of the students, and genuinely attempt to do the best to get the children to learn the "traditional" curriculum as well as achieve the highest standards while doing so. My only complaint is that the school is located downtown, and traffic getting to the school can be quite challenging to navigate. Other than that, I would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good school for their child.
The name, Dens Barber Salon shop doesn't say anything about the entire array of services. I found out quite by accident. One of my dear friends gave me a gift certificate for a massage at Dens and I absolutely loved it. I have gone back no less than a handful of times in the last 6 months alone. Great service, staff, and the hours suit my work life.
If you are ever going in for some major (or minor) surgery, I would highly recommend going to Johns Hopkins. They have top notch doctors and facilities at their disposal. They are also well renowed for their research facilities. Good service and excellent bed side manner. I know my surgery went smoothly and they made me feel very comfortable.
The walk in clinic at the University of Maryland Family medicine associates is pretty good. The doctors are very nice, but the rest of the staff could do with a class in manners. The customer service (like at many doctors offices) stinks. For the price though, I can't really complain much. Plus the doctors are very kind, so once you get past the desk staff everyone else is great.
I would not recommend going to Carl Intercoiffure Incorporated for a haircut or styling. I went there one time and was made to wait an hour, even though I had an appointment. Not only that, but the stylist ended up using the wrong color on my hair and wasn't able to fix it that day because it was almost closing time. I will not go back again. The price is not worth the quality.
I would recommend the Whetstone Point Veterninary Hospital if you are in need of a good vet in an emergency situation. They were very patient and kind when I brought my dog in to have emergency surgery. They were not only very good with my dog, but they were especially good at calming the nervous owners!
Burns M T Plumbing and Heating Company is a good company to use for air conditioning and heating work. This company came highly recommended from one of my old neighbors and I couldn't have been more thankful for the recommendation. They did great work, and charged me what seemed like very reasonable prices.
The Central Parking System garage is the that I use most when I am in downtown Baltimore. It is relatively inexpensive when compared to the other garages in downtown Baltimore, however, it's not the best garage that is out there. If you are not looking to spend a lot of money, and don't really care about customer service, then this isn't a bad place to go.
