The name of the store says it all: they have all sorts of Christian merchandise from the standard books, crosses, and cards to more unique clothing and home decor. If you have a Christian family member or friend, this store will no doubt have something they will appreciate and enjoy. I thought their greeting cards were especially nice; I liked the messages inside and purchased four of them.
I've gotten too lazy to wash my car every week now, so I alternate and do it three times a month and take it to Chiefs Auto. They probably do a bit better job than I do as far as having streak-free windows goes, and I don't mind paying less than ten dollars for a wash. It saves me time and is more convenient than doing it the manual way. I'll keep going to them each spring and summer month.
I'm dating someone whose friend (who is Middle Eastern) hosted a Middle Eastern dinner that we attended together. The food was delicious and I wanted to make a Middle Eastern dinner for ourselves sometime, and this place had all the supplies and ingredients for rice, fried plantains, pockets with meat, and other Middle Eastern dishes to prepare. They also have a nice amount of decorations and non-food Middle Eastern goods. Truly a wonderful store with a variety, and everything is fresh and always stocked.
I've honestly never seen so many clocks in my whole life. When we remodeled our home, we wanted to find something - I suggested looking online for more options, but I'd have had to look at 900 webpages to see as many clocks as I did here. They were gorgeous and offered every size, type, and color you can imagine - you can no doubt find the perfect clock here. The sales people are friendly and willing to patiently answer any questions, too, which is a perk.
My mom and I checked out this place while looking for some gift clothes for a friend's children. They had a big selection of boys and girls clothes in all sorts of colors and sizes - the prices aren't bad at all and you can get two or three outfits for what you'd pay for one elsewhere. It's definitely worth coming here and stocking up for a whole season; you'd save a lot on clothes that your kids will eventually outgrow a half a year later.
I have a long history of ice skating at Winterhurst... I took lessons in elementary school and learned the basics - skating forward, backwards, crossovers, and stopping. I remember it being fun; we played games like ice tag and relay races when we got a little better. I've free skated here a bunch of times since then. I like that there are two rinks, so it's roomier and I don't feel so clustered on the ice with people all around me. They do a good job of refreshing the ice to make it smooth and less choppy again, which I also appreciate. Good rink, hope to keep going there!
Most dermatologists *are* busy and as a rule, you can expect to have to make your appointments months in advance. Saffold Oscar's office is no different. I was pleased with my recent experience - he listened when I said I only wanted topical creams and no pills, assessed the sort of skin I have, and made an appropriate presciption in the correct % of ingredients, which has been working nicely and agreeing with my skin well. Great dermatologist.
Love & Laughter has been around for a while and has been offering unique and special gift options for different occasions. In the fifth grade, my class got my teacher a tote bag with our class photo in it, then had it placed inside a balloon... I remember she cried and loved it. They do a beautiful job on all their gifts- the colors are perfect and the quality is great, well worth the price!
My grandma had a dated TV (think: no remote control, two circular knobs) that was on the fritz and she had no desire to get a modern-day TV, yet didn't want to miss The O.C. or the news when they came on. I took it in here, skeptical they'd be able to do anything, but they had very minor repairs to make and the TV was working smoothly again. It wasn't entirely broken, and if it was, I'm not sure if they would've had such ancient parts to fix it, but they were knowledgeable enough to repair a fritzy dated TV. Great!
If you enjoy doing your own manicures, pedicures, and taking care of your hair, skin, and nails, Sally Beauty has a wonderful selection of products to moisturize and maintain a nice look. My favorite are their inexpensive nail blocks, which files, buffs, and shines your nails - you simply twist the block and each side has a different feature for your nails - they feel so soft and polished afterwards, and look healthy! Sally Beauty has coupons and the price is always right.
