Dr. Krug is a great dentist. Both himself and his staff are always welcoming and friendly. They are very patient with you if you are not comfortable being in a dentist's chair. He will always contact you after doing fillings, etc. to check up on you. They take the time to work with your insurance, and really go the extra mile to make sure that you are a happy patient and customer.
Dr. Plakogianis delivered my baby and has been my doctor ever since. He is a great doctor with a nice bedside manner and wonderful decision making skills (my birth was high-risk). He is patient and answers your questions and will always return your phone calls. The visits with him don't feel rushed. The front desk is what it is - disorganized and confused for the most part. However, I find the doctors here to be worth the headache.
Doctor Greco has been my child's pediatrician since birth. She is a good doctor with a fantastic memory and is very attentive. My only complaint about her is that she is always rushed. I usually have questions to ask and there is never an opportunity to ask them. I think that the overbooked schedule is due in part to the horrible front office. The people who work there are grouchy, disorganized, and seldom helpful. If you can tolerate the horrible front lines, then Dr. Greco is worth waiting for. Just make sure you have a backup source (i.e. lots of books) who can answer your questions.
We went to this office based on a referral given to us for our son. I'm really glad that we chose this doctor. Making an appointment and using our insurance was painless. The office is easy to locate, and is stunning! There is plenty there to keep the kids occupied while they wait - including an enormous television playing kids movies and some toys. The doctor was wonderful, and the technology there seems to be ahead of its time. I can't say enough good things about this office.
Possibilities is a newcomer to the Columbia U. area. It is centrally located on Broadway between 111th and 112th streets. The store is not large, but a good size nonetheless by NYC standards. The merchandise is nice and well organized. There is a good selection of cards, party supplies, candles, small gifts and household items, and some Vera Bradley bags. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is always nice. I really like this shop, and there is nothing else like it in this neighborhood.
Sunnyside is a nice tanning salon with great package prices. The waits are never long. The staff is friendly and helpful. This was my favorite place to go to tan when I lived in Salinas. The salon is very conveniently located. I recommend giving them a try.
I seem to have the horrible misfortune of always choosing the salon that cuts my hair too short, too trendy, or colors it just all wrong. This all finally changed when I found metamorphosis in Monterey. They stylists there are FANTASTIC and really listen to what you want. They are up to date on the latest techniques and trends, and will help you to find your best cut and color. Prices are reasonable, and the salon itself is very nice.
We booked this hotel when we went to visit the Hearst Castle in San Simeon, and we're glad that we did! The hotel is very easy to find, and close to the castle. The checkin was swift and efficient, they provided us with recommendations on where to dine that evening. The rooms were well appointed and worth the rate, $99. I highly recommend a stay here if you are going to the San Simeon area!
I like the realtors at Coldwell Banker. We used them for the purchase of our home. I didn't feel like just another customer - we corresponded with our realtor 7 days a week at all hours of the day and night. They were very helpful with the process.
I can't say enough good things about this bank and the people who work there. The service is top-notch and very personal. The rates are competitive. We are using this bank for our mortgage and could not be happier. If you want a nice local bank, please check this place out. We're glad we did!
