We just returned from a stay at the Fairfield Inn. I'm glad we chose this hotel. The facilities are very clean and easy to get to - just off of I-95. The check-in process was swift and painless. The rooms were clean and well appointed and had wireless highspeed interenet. There was a nice continental breakfast in the morning. Definitely worth the money. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay in Fredericksburg!
Cindy Rowe is a fantastic operation. You can take your car there to get your windshield repaired, rather than taking it to a service center and getting the whole thing replaced. Their prices are very fair, and their service is always impeccable (I've had several repairs there). Since I no longer live in the area, I wish that Cindy Rowe was everywhere! HIGHLY recommend!
I planned a wedding reception here from across the country, and they did a great job. The communication leading up to the event was wonderful. All of my questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. The prices were fair - definitely competitive for the area. They had great food choices, and at the event the service went well. There was one miscommunication but it was fixed quickly. The facilities are great - pool(s), mini-golf, sand volleyball, and more. Definitely consider this place for your event.
Members 1st has been my bank for over fifteen years. They started out small and are growing into a nice institution. The service is professional and personal, yet the services offered are competitive with the larger banks.
One of the nicest benefits is the 5 cent return for every use of your check card!
As with most theme parks, the prices here are over-the-top. Admission prices to Hershey are soaring with no end in sight, and the food has never been cheap. Look for coupons at local businesses to save you some $.
The park is large and has various coasters, water rides and even a zoo.
Plenty of parking.
Definitely stop by for a meal or a drink, even if only to check out the facility itself. The menu is your standard pub-grub. There are sometimes some drink specials worth checking out. The prices are fair, the waitstaff is pretty hit or miss. But where else can you have a decent meal and play pool all in the same room? This renovated space is worth a visit.
Come and visit the newly remodeled Trinity United Methodist church. It is centrally located on Bridge Street in New Cumberland. The facility itself is very pretty, yet still understated. The services are nice, and the ministry is very down-to-earth. Congregation is friendly.
They are a little stingy about membership and baptism, but if you are looking for a nice methodist church to visit, you can't go wrong here.
After you do your regular grocery shopping at the large chain store, stop by Karn's deli to pick up all of your butcher items. The meat prices / selection here is great. The stores are small compared to a big grocery store, but it will still meet your needs. Give them a try - you won't regret it.
Royer's is a fantastic place for almost all of your floral needs. They have a good selection inside their store and on their website. Their ordering system is swift and easy. They also offer an account (no interest) to further simplify their orders. They offer wedding flowers / funeral flowers in addition to beautiful bouqets and seasonal decorations.
The Inn of the Dove is a fantastic alternative to the plain jane hotels. The rooms are very nice if you are looking for a romantic getaway for two. This is NOT a family-style hotel. The rooms have fireplaces, jacuzzi tubs, large beds and a nice sized shower. Room service from local restaurants is available for $$$$. There are also a couple of rooms that have a private lap pool.
For all of the above, the rooms are nicely priced at under $200 for most nights.
