My son went here to havea heart condition checked out and from the first step in the hospital i knew this place would be great. Everything appeared to be clean and was beautifully decorated. The place was very welcoming for children. The cardiology center was also very nice and all of the staff members were great. Everyone was curteous. I am not sure of how expensive it was as the insurance covered our visit, but I know it was probably worth however much it costs. I onyl have two complaints: parking wasn't cheap (I think it was about $1/1 and I was there about 2.5 hours) and the staff member that performed the tests on my son expected a little much out of him (he was about 1 week old).
I highly recommend this hospital to anyone with children.
This is an EXCELLENT schools. After sending my children to a horrible public school where I feared for their safety daily, I sent them here and haven'thad a worry since. They are a realtively inexpensive private school with tuition ranging from about $5,000-$7,000 depending on the grade. The school campus is very clean and the teachers and admin are very professional and curteous. There is a small playground with play structures. The "lunch room" is ver informal. The learning materials are top notch. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a private school!
I have been here many times to get my car fixed. It is a very small shop with a few service men there. Whenever I go there, I receive A+ service. I usually have to drop my car off and it takes a few hours, but it is definitely worth it because they are very honest and will not take you for your monry. Being a women I am always careful and cautious, but time and time again, they have proven to be more than honest. The prices are also very reasonable and they are conveniently located on Hunting Park Blvd.
Nice trucks that are clean and in good running condition. Be careful though as they close early on Sat (at 2pm). I was unaware of this and came to drop off my truck a few minutes after 2pm. The front desk clerk informed me that they were closed and he wouldn't be able to check in my truck that same day because he had already shut the computers down. He was nice enough to take the truck and keys and paperwork from me so it would be considered in on time. They are easy to find if you know your way around Philadelphia.
You really have no choice as to whether you use this cable TV company or not unless you are going to go satellite however you do have a choice of whether you use them for cable internet or not.
Generally Cox has wonderful customer service and thir cable TV isgreat. Ocasionally, some of their channels for digital cable don't come in loud or clear, but other than that it is fine.
What I hate is the cable internet, Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and many times their networks go down. This happens for day and I won't be able to download my email messages into Outlook which is a pain because the cox.net e-mail interface is not that user friendly in my opinion. Whatever you do, don't use their cable internet, you will be sorry in the end.
I went here for the first time to have an ultrasound and I got lost because there were no signs in the part of the hospital I was at. They also had a parking garage that said no vans, and I was driving a van so where was I supposed to park??? I did see vans coming in and out of there but then I wasn't sure if I could go in there or not.
The front desk staff in the unit I went to was ok. The dr and nurse were even better. They were informative, talkative, and made me feel comfortable, safe, and secure.
I chose Verizon for telephone service and DSL internet after having a horrible experience with another company. Although they took a long time to activate the DSL service, the service is great and it was worth the wait. We installed it ourselves late one evening. We got through most of the installation OK, but we began having problems. I called customer service and they had us on the internet quickly.
The same night, I was trying to hook up a router to the modem and I was having problems. I called again and within minutes, the problem was solved. The modem that you rent from them doubles as a router!
Anytime I need help, I get it fast and friendly. The telephone service works fine too and after a month, I haven't had any problems. I highly recmmend their service.
I signed up online with Comcast cable to get service when I moved to philadelphia. I never received a call back, confirmation, or anything in the mail. After waiting a while and calling them, I was told that they do not service the area I am in, yet they failed to ever tell me that. A simple phone call would have been nice.
The customer service associate was kind of rude, unapologetic and if I had another choice, I would not use comcast cable.
I moved to Philly and signed up with urban Cable Works for cable tv and internet (internet in conjunction with Road Runner High Speed). From the minute the cable was installed, the cable television worked great and I haven't had problems with it. The cable internet is another story. It never ever worked, not even once and whenc alling customer service, we waited on hold, sometimes for more than a half and hour and we kept getting the runaround about why it wasn't working. After three weeks and no internet, we got rid of them. It is bad when a company can't fix their own problem.
Now, when calling customer service about cable tv, the wait is sometimes long and tedious. Sometimes we are on hold for 15 minutes to a half an hour.
The thing I like best about them is they have a time gurantee. If they do not show up on time to do service, you get a $20 credit. So far, they have been late each time and I have always gotten my credit without asking. Since no other cable company services the "urban area", I have no choice but to have them and it is nice to be compensated without asking when they are late.
I was looking and looking for a realtor. The first person I called and contacted out of this office never returned any of my messages or called me back. That was made up for by another affiliate when I called one evening and the receptionist put me through to another agent. From that moment we spoke he began to help me and assist my family with finding the home we wanted in our price range. He is pretty good at returning calls and emails. Thier office is located in the Frnakford section of Philadelphia and their is street parking.
