My company has an insurance plan with Group Health which seems to be a good deal. However, I often find it a pain to make an appointment with my physicians in this hospital. Appointments are often scheduled in the distant future by which time my symptom either has gone away and worsened a lot. Staff is not too rude, but not friendly or enthusiastic. Attrition rate seems high there, as my primary physicians often leaves and thus I need to change physicians a lot of times. I have tried serveral primary physican there but I couldn't get one that I could feel comfortable with. In the end I switched insurance plan to get out of there.
This is the only MINI dealership within the Seattle area. The salespeople are friendly and nice. It is very easy to do a test drive (no appointment and no hassle for walkin). Wait time for delivery seems to be too long (8 month for Cooper and over 1 year for S when I went there). So eventually I bought my car from another dealership, which I regretted. My other dealer didn't follow up at all with the purchase and my car was delivered with only 1 key and no glove box wallet.
The parts department people (Lee) in Northwest MINI was so nice as to offer me a free glove box wallet. Lee even allowed me to choose between a European one and an American one and shipped my choice to me in no time.
As the car is still new I haven't had the chance to use their service department yet. But I do see that they host regular events for local owners.
Base on my so-far positive experience, I look forward to working with them more as my car ages.
PROS: Lee is great
CONS: wait time for delivery is too long
I was referred to Dr Chin after suffering a horrible ordeal in Philip Jung's office (see my separate review of Philip Jung). What a refreshment like night and day! Dr Chin was nice, confident and friendly. He made sure that all questions and uncertainty were answered. Most importanly, his operation was precise and fast. His clinic was clean, bright and new. If I was intending to perform a wisdom tooth extraction, I would definitely go there before approaching Jung. But on that unfortunate day I was only going to Jung for a regular visit, and had him warned me about the wisdom tooth problem and assured me that he was qualified to do it.
Anyway, for those in the Factoria area, Dr Chin is a great choice for oral surgery.
This dentist is very unprofessional and just wants to make money by asking patients to do teeth whittening and cosmetic things in every visit.
In one of my visits, he said that my wisdom tooth was obstructing other teeth and should be removed. Instead of referring me to a real oral surgeon, he immediately tried to perform this task that he was not qualified to perform at all!!. I had to keep my mouth opened for 45 minutes, lips dried and cracked, breeding, had local anesthesia a couple of times (because he took so long, the medicine had passed its effect). He even tried to break my wisdom tooth into pieces, so that he could extract it easier. Was this dentist working in a quarry? Breaking a tooth into pieces before extracting? I have never ever seen or heard any dentist or oral surgeon doing this kind of thing.
Finally after my long ordeal, he called up an oral surgeon (Roger Chin) and dispatched me there. Imagine, I was bleeding with a swollen face when travelling to Dr Chin. What a horrible experience! Dr Chin even found a small piece of the tooth in my gum (left behind by Jung) and helped me remove every single piece remaining.
My face was swollen and my mouth sored for days because of the horrible practice of Dr Jung! I never went back to him afterwards.
I would not hesitate to give 0 star or negative star if possible. This dentist is just horrible and irresponsible to patients.
CONS: incompetent, trying to perform surgeries he was not qualified
I went to Dr Cahoon after reading about his good rating (one of Seattle's best dentists) by Seattle magazine. I am not disappointed. He is very patient and gentle, and is willing to listen and explain everything in detail to make sure clients understand. I can trust him completely for my dental needs. He really wants the best of his customers' dental health. Staff is also very nice. I won't hesitate to recommend him!
Dr Suberck is very warm and friendly. He is willing to listen to patients and answer all kinds of questions you might have. He explains everything clearly. During each visit, he explains what changes he is making on braces and what they are for. His staff is also friendly and helpful staff, and helps me to utilize my flex spending account efficiently. Staff also has really good memory in which they remember every client's name and conversation. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for orthodontics service.
This bookstore is located in the busy Park Place complex in Kirkland. At the back of the bookstore there is a very nice collection of bargain books that you might not find elsewhere. The bookstore also carries some cute plush toys in the kids section. It is a very pleasant place to shop before going for a movie in the adjacent cinema.
I concur with the other reviewer's comment. Susanna (or is it Rosanna) from this agency is very patient and nice to customers. I was trying to book a ticket to Japan and HK and she explained to me different ways to save money. She even informed me of an upcoming fare increase due to fuel surchage. Price is just a bit higher than a few other agencies around, but definitely below average when you compare it to the majority.
I used The Red Balloon Company to deliver a birthday balloon + gift basket to my friend. The balloon design is good (the whole thing is basically a replica of a hot-air balloon) and the gift tasteful. Delivery was punctual too. I ordered over the phone and the staff who took my order was nice. Haven't visited their B&M store so I am not sure about the rude attitudes other reviewers talked about.
Dr. Aaron Ilk is the chiropractic physician for Evergreen Pain Relief Clinic. His service is very good. Unfortunately this clinic really has problem with keeping appointments punctual. For all my times there (over 15+ visits), none of my appointments could start at the agreed time. It is normal to wait for 15-20 minutes, and I've even waited for 1 hr to see the doctor. Needless to say this is extremely inconvenient to people who need to return to work after a visit. I am not sure if they overbook patients or not.
