I went to this establishment once to get a blood pressure machine that I had a prescription written for. My insurance participates with this business and I was to pay a 10% copay and my insurance covers the rest. When I spoke to the employee about this, she had a very poor attitude and said that they usually didn't deal directly with the insureds for this type of thing. Whether she had a problem recouping the other 90% from my insurance company or not, I felt that I was treated in a very shabby manner and was more than happy to tell her, "never mind... just forget it...I'll take my business elsewhere". This was the second home health care supplier I had tried for this item. The first was a rude phone conversation with one of their competitors! I ended up getting my blood pressure cuff from a major retail store and forgoing my insurance coverage. I got it on sale and dealt with happy , professional sales people that wanted my business. Even if this company had a bad opinion of my HMO carrier, they entered into an agreement with them to supply this service to their insureds and should honor it and treat potential customers properly. They just lost a sale, and possibly others from people who will read this .
New hospital was just built and had their grand opening this year. The new address is 1400 w. Main St. The phone number remains the same. The impressive, clean, state of the art, beautiful facility is staffed with the most friendly , caring people you would ever want to meet. The volunteers and professional staff are wonderful and helpful. One of the best things about the set up here is that it is well thought out. The lab is conveniently located right near the reception desk and registration area, The parking is great there are two entrances. It is a great improvement over the old hospital.
We are COSI members because our whole family has such fun here. We have young children so we enjoy the kids space area which offers dramatic play for the under 5 set. They have a tree house, water play area, a hospital, giant tinker toys and blocks in the construction area... even a baby room for crawlers to explore in. The kids have a great time. The rest of the hands on science exhibits here also get our 5 year old interested in science and we have been able to thrill our little dinosaur enthusiasts here with several of the special exhibits they've had over the years here. It's a great year round destination. The gift shop is nice and there are several parking options.
We enjoyed our visit to this zoo. The setting is very natural and the rain forest attraction is very unique. The area is very hilly and you have the option of taking a ride up the very large hill or walking the tiered stairway. We took a ride up and a walk down. They also had a playground for the kids which is always a plus. Over all we had a great time with very tired little ones at the end of the day.
This is one of the best Zoo's I've been to and I am glad this is the zoo my children will grow up with. One of the nicest things about this zoo is that it isn't so spread out like the Detroit Zoo, or the San Diego Zoo for example. You don't have to take a train or a trolley or bus here. The exhibits and beautiful buildings are close together. They offer a nice petting zoo for the kids with hand washing stations and hand sanitizers placed throughout. The aquarium is also a favorite attraction of ours here. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with botanical gardens. They have plenty of refreshment and concession stands and gift shops and a large parking lot. We also enjoy the special events like the "Lights Before Christmas" and other off season reasons to visit the zoo. We are members, so the price is super for our family of 2 adults and 4 children. We love our zoo!
This is a very enjoyable outing for the family. You drive your car through the animal park and the deer, alpacas, and other animals will literally stick there head in your window to get the food! They can really be quite funny as they swarm around your vehicle. You definitely get an up close look at the animals. They also have a gift shop, a concession stand and and tables, a small zoo type walk through section with a few animals, a pig race called "pork chop downs", and an animal show that is put on several times. It is a fun place to go for something different to do with the family.
This place has a bit of a "rustic" look to it. There are only a few parking spots here and the bathroom facility is down right primitive. The price seems a bit high for admission and the bag of feed you get but it is fun to get to feed the deer and other animals here. There are peacocks and goats and other animals in large pens around the perimeter of a large lot. Some of the animals roam around freely inside the lot and they will try to get the food and sometimes even try to nip at you so be warned. It is neat to see the babies here in the spring time. There is a small gift shop area, but we did not stop to look at any of the items. Across from the parking area there is a lake that has large carp that are very tame and can also be fed. It is a fun place to take the kids, just have your hand sanitizer ready, and watch where you step.
This is a great place, with cheery decor and a wonderful aroma the minuet you step inside. They have the best doughnuts and bakery treats in town so you need to get there early for the best selection. They are also caterers for area businesses for lunches. Our company catered a few lunches from this business when we had out of town corporate visitors. They offered a nice selection of sandwiches on croissants, salads and even homemade Italian wedding soup. The prices were reasonable and they even delivered to our business. We had a very positive experience with this company and have found all of their employees very friendly and easy to deal with.
This is a nice clean facility to get a propane tank exchange. They have good prices, friendly staff and it looks very new and clean. It is very located on a main drag so it is easy find, and there is ample parking. We always feel better getting our tank exchanged here rather than some of the other places that offer the service like gas stations or convenience stores, because this is their main business, they provide propane for peoples home heating needs and fill and purge propane tanks for gas grills or exchange your empty tanks for filled ones. By going to a propane specialty facility we are assured of getting pure , clean burning fuel at a good price with safety in mind. We've never had a problem with them and we would recommend them highly.
This establishment offers propane tank exchanges. My husband always used this company because it was so conveniently located to his house. I have found that although it is convenient, it is a bit dirty and some of the other places in and around our area are much cleaner, newer , and even offer a little better prices. This business has been around a long time and if you are really in a hurry to get your grill going and want the nearest place this is it. The parking is adequate.
