China Taste is a great and affordable Chinese restaurant. The staff there are extremely friendly and will greet you by name. They cook food to order and are great for people who are on restricted diets. They also have an affordable lunch special menu. I would definitely go there if you are looking for great tasting Chinese.
Peter Pank is a great place to go for breakfast but I wouldn?t go there for anything else. On weekends the place is frequented by high schoolers and police officers, so if you don?t fall into one of those two groups you might not want to go there. I would go there on Sunday morning for a great breakfast.
Sultan Wok is cheap and hot Chinese food. It is not the best out there but it is not the worst either. You can get a lot of food for your money though and if you get delivery, they tend to usually not take too long. They also offer sushi for those interested in Japanese.
I would suggest going to Goodfellas for lunch. Their menu items are under $10 and include either a soup or salad. Their old world pizza is out of this world with its fresh mozzarella and basil. They also have a great ambiance in their dining room and pleasant wait staff.
It shocks me that no one has reviewed Sorrentos Subs. They are known in the area for having the best subs and usually have a line out the door at lunchtime. They have an amazing staff that create an assembly line for you getting you in and out quickly. Their subs are true NJ quality. I wouldn?t go anywhere else.
If you want cheap, great tasting Italian food than Nunzios is the place for you. They have both an eat in dining room as well as take out. Their portions are huge and their food is extremely tasty. I would recommend their eggplant parmesan sub. My only wish is that they would offer delivery.
If you are from the area then you know the Americana diner. Their menu is a book and will take you forever to get through. That just speaks for the variety they offer. They also have a full service bar and lounge which is adjacent to the diner. Their desserts are amazing so make sure to leave room.
The Seville is always renovating and updating their menu. That is definitely a plus. But they are also extremely pricey. They do have a great salad bar and are always able to accommodate larger parties in the back of the dining room. They are also open 24 hours on weekends.
Spotswood Diner is by far one of my favorite places to eat when I am in the area. Yes, it is small and can be quite packed on a weekend night. But it is cheap and the food is incredible. Where else can you pay less than $8 for a full meal? My mouth is watering just thinking about it. They are also great for take-out as well.
This is a so-so Laundromat. This place can be somewhat packed at peak times so try to plan ahead. The machines are also a little bit old and the place could use a renovation. The real only thing it has going for it is that it is in a good location.
