She is wonderful! Her staff is friendly.
I was referred to her by Christian Helping Hands. I have no dental insurance so my teeth were in need of fillings. She volunteered her time and supplies at no cost to me, out of the goodness of her heart. It is my understanding that she regularly takes on patients who have dire necessity to improve the quality of their life.
Even though I did not have the money to pay for her services, she was gracious and lovely. She never patronized me, and performed excellent work on my teeth. When I get insurance, I will definitely return to her for other major work I need.
I would highly recommend her to anyone.
PROS: Caring dentist; friendly staff
CONS: Sometimes schedule gets full fast; may have to wait for appt
Granted they do run a lot of coupons and specials to lure you in, but careful of the service that you get.
I went in for a simple brake job on my truck and yes, I had a coupon for the service so I could save a little money. They took a look at my vehicle and told me that I needed $600 more in services, that my vehicle was not driveable out of the shop, and I was at risk to drive it.
Being naive, I left my vehicle there to be serviced and in the end, I paid almost $800 for my truck to be repaired. It took them 2 days to have my vehicle ready.
I drove the vehicle in normal conditions. Within 6 months, my brake light was back on and I had to take it in for more repairs. The new shop that I patronized told me that the initial repair was not done correctly, that a part was rigged on my vehicle, and that I was taken advantage of.
Their mechanics are not ASE certified. In fact, I found out later that one of the men working on my truck was a painter but he was working at the shop to make extra money since his regular job had been slow. Their equipment is also outdated and mostly not computerized for accuracy. I will never again go to this shop and I would advise others to BEWARE.
PROS: Great prices and coupons
CONS: Mechanics are not certified; Shop dirty; Customer service bad
When my car didn't pass inspection, I took my car here to be serviced. I dropped off my vehicle in the morning, and by the very same afternoon, I received a call telling me that my vehicle was ready.
Their staff was very courteous and professional. Communication was excellent. Their prices are reasonable.
The service technicians are ASE certified. I was waited on in a timely manner. The mechanic even took time to speak with me about what they did to my vehicle.
All paperwork was ready to go when I arrived. There was no wait or hassle. I would definitely return again.
PROS: Professional staff; Mechanics ASE Certified; Great Communication and price
CONS: Limited hours; Sometimes they are busy so call ahead for appointment
Is one most people go to when they are looking to pick up a pack of cigarettes or one drink. There prices are standard for convenience stores, higher than the regular retail store.
They do have promotional cigarettes from time to time, which they sale cheaper than their competitors. Check before you go, because it's not a sure thing.
PROS: Convenient location; Quick to get in and out
CONS: Parking is limited when busy; Usually only one clerk in store
Then this business may have what you are looking for.
This small shop is located in Randall's shopping center. They are conveniently located. Parking sometimes is an issue because of the popular businesses they are surrounded by.
I go here from time to time when I'm looking for a competitive prices on cigarettes. They normally have promotional packs (buy one, get one free). They also accept manufacturer coupons which can make a good deal even sweeter.
They usually only have one clerk, so sometimes there is a wait. But for the $ saved on a carton, it is well worth it.
PROS: Competitive prices on tobacco; Accept coupons; Convenient location
CONS: Parking limited; when it's busy, you may have to wait
My boys LOVE Space Center Houston. Unfortunately I can't afford to take them more than once a year, but what a day we have! They love to watch the presentations, look at moon rocks, and climb inside different space crafts and imagine themselves astronauts. Parking can be crowded here, and it's sometimes packed with tourists and families out and about. They have a food court if you want to make a day of it.
PROS: Incredible amounts of space exhibits and presentations
CONS: Limited parking; Pricey (don't forget your wallet)!
The Zoo has changed a lot since I was a child, but it has only gotten better with it's new renovations. Signs clearly point out exhibits and other amenities.
Best to go early to get decent parking near the zoo. Take bread and feed the ducks at the lake by the train station. There are also picnic facilities available nearby if you want to make a day of it.
Take some cash. The gift shop has a lot of cool items, but they are pricey. Food prices are reminiscent of theme park prices. You might want to pack a lunch if you are on a budget.
PROS: Huge; Can spend a day outdoors with the family; Cool exhibits
CONS: Some exhibits are closed at certain times of day or year; Limited parking
They have a wide variety of smoking supplies, including pipes, bongs, and rolling papers. They also stock domestic and imported cigarettes.
They also carry clothing from band/concert t-shirts to novelty shirts with witty sayings or pictures. In addition, one side is sexually oriented with lingerie and fetish clothing as well as adult toys for any pleasure.
They also carry body jewelry, stickers, novelty pins, knives, and greeting cards. You can also pick up a copies of free local nightlife entertainment papers at the door, or purchase smoking magazines at the register.
This business is adult oriented. I would not recommend taking anyone under the age of 18 in this store. There are a lot of sexual items presented as well as nudity on some merchandise.
Conveniently located near Almeda Mall, the Gulf Freeway, and Beltway 8, it is easy to stop in for just that one thing you need before bustling home. Parking is sometimes hard to find near the door due to the other popular restaurants and businesses nearby. There is sometimes a wait for customer service as they do get busy and oftentimes there will only be one clerk on each side of the store.
PROS: Wide variety of novelty items; Competitive prices on smoking accessories
CONS: Not a place for children; Lingerie and clothing seem overpriced
But a lot of working class Pearland go there to furnish their homes. Mainly because they are in the business to sell, and they will negotiate the price and financing liberally.
They offer a wide variety of furniture with quality and price ranges to fit any budget. Some of their furniture seems to be overpriced, but perhaps it is for the convenience.
This business is family owned and operated. Their customer service is usually attentive.
PROS: Local; family owned and operated; Liberal financing available
If you aren't expecting too much, then this is the place to go. Keep in mind that everyone is a student and not licensed to practice without supervision. The price is cheap for the service but you get what you pay for. I paid for an hour massage, asking for deep tissue. I was told that they didn't perform that type of massage but they had a therapist who had strong hands who could give one that felt like deep tissue. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the results which felt more like a Swedish massage done with a little more kneading thrown in. When I left I called my regular massage therapist who I pay $15 more but who is able to break down all my tissue and leaves me feeling like butter. I saw him just after to get the results I wanted. I felt like I had wasted my time and money, but if you are someone who likes a lighter touch this may be the place for you.
PROS: Cheap massage
CONS: Don't expect too much from massage students who aren't fully trained.
