They were excellent! I went to them for a wedding that I was attending. I am built a little odd, so it is usually very hard to find suits and tuxedos that fit properly. The people there were extremely helpful in getting me the tuxedo that fit best. They took my measurements and found me a tux that not only fit but made me look like I belonged in GQ. Everyone should go there for all their formal attire needs. I don't think there's any out there better than them!
Everyone who buys a Lexus, buys a Lexus at Serramonte. They are truely in a class of their own. There service is beyond any other dealer I have ever been to. Whenever you have your car serviced at Serramonte everything is handled like you're first class. A brand new Lexus is usually given as a loner car and the repairs or maintenience done to your car is done as quickly as possible. Also, for frequent customers, you receieve various gifts to reward you for your continued use of Serramonte Lexus. Anyone interested in buying a Lexus need to get it from Serramonte because there is no else like them.
PROS: They're Perfect
This place is ideal if you want a cheap but quality haircut. They do both men and women. The rates are super cheap compared to the bigger chains and salons in Sacramento. I've been going to Judyi's for more than 4 years and I've never gotten a bad hair cut. They always do your hair exactly how you want it and anything you don't like they'll try to improve until you're satisfied. There's a TV and tons of magazines to look at while you wait. The only negative about Judi's is the wait. Usually on weekends there is a long wait but making and appointment will usually solve that problem.
PROS: cheap and good
Everyone should support Cedar Saint Video. This place is really tiny but still way better than the big chain video stores in Santa Cruz. The employees are super nice and they are willing to help you find any movie that you want to rent. They also are located just off of Pacific so anyone can get to it easily. I've never had a problem renting new releases, while at the bigger video store in SC it seems like it's impossible to get videos when they're first released. In a world of big chains, everyone should support the little guys like Cedar.
Old school shoes really does sell old school shoes! Most of their line consists of Chuck Taylors and retro/funky Adidas and Pumas. The service in the store is pretty good because there always seems to be an employee eager to assist you try things on. The prices aren't to bad. I usually stop in to take a look at the shoes whenever I eat at the legendary Taqueria. The major downside about the store is that they do not have many athletic shoes. If you're lookin for Jordan's or basketball shoes this is not the place to find them
CONS: no athletic shoes
This place only sells women's shoes, so if you're a guy there's not much to shop for here. I've been to this store many times because my girlfriend loves this store. Everytime we're on Pacific we have to stop by Bunnys. Bunnys' has a good selection of shoes, ranging from Uggs to flip flops. The major downside about them is that they're expensive. Another downside is that the store is always crowded, people who are claustrophobic should avoid this place cause it can get very cramped.
PROS: good selection for women
CONS: No shoes for guys
I went into the Broadway Eye center last year after finally telling myself I needed glasses. It seemed like every one of my friends went to this place to get their eyes checked, so I decided to give it a try. Everything about them is great! I was able to make an appointment right away and at a time very convienent for me. When I went in, the receptionist and the doctor were extremely nice and welcoming. The eye check was quick and I was able to get contacts the very same day. A major plus, was that the contacts were much cheaper than I was expecting to pay. This place is the place to go for eye care in Burlingame!
I would say that the best part of the Lodi Public library is the section for kids. The amount of books and magazines for children is really cool because it is designed to get kids interested in reading. Another plus for kids, are the daily puppet shows featuring a new story everyday. The fact that it is free makes it a great activity for you and your children. The librarians are all extremely nice and can help you find whatever you're looking for. The section for adults is a plus as well. The large selection of books, magazines, and music is surprising for such a small town. This library is truely one of Lodi's gems.
PROS: Great for Kids
This place rocked when I was a kid. This was the place to go if you were cool or you wanted to be cool. I also had numerous field trips to Cal Skate because that's where all the kids wanted to spend there field trips. In addition to a big skating ring, they have many arcade machines to play. They also have a photo machine that takes those black and white photos. They also have a small snack bar with pretzels, mini pizzas, candy, etc. On top of that, they also have their very own store that sells skates and roller blades. This is one of the top hangouts in Lodi.
I remember my mom taking me to this place as a child. I also remember going there for numerous field trips as a child. I haven't been there since I was a kid but my memories of Micke Grove are so good, I remember it like yesterday. The animals and playground they have are perfect for young children. It's by far the best place for kids in Lodi. The prices aren't to unreasonable either. On top of that is it's location next to the zoo. I highly recommend this place to parents for their children.
