this guy took me here on our first date last night. excellent choice on his part. the waitress was very helpful and helped us choose a bottle of wine and tapas that complimented each other. she put up with us when we were taking forever to order. the food was phenomenal. he got steak and i got pollo asado. both tasted great. they both had the most unexpectedly great seasoning on them-- it had a little kick. there is also a bar attached to the restaurant. they had live music. it sounded great and it was a fun atmosphere to hang out in. definitely a nice restaurant. a little pricey but worth it
i like active, although it is a little pricey sometimes. they were having a sale so all the shirts and everything were really cheap. they have a good assortment of skateboarding and snowboarding apparel and items. good place to go
my brother and i went here with some friends after church. i am a huge fan of corner bakery so i didn't think that i would be satisfied with this place. however, i was pleasantly surprised. i got the fiji apple salad which was phenomenal. i think it was because of the white wine vinaigrette-- soooo good. my brother got a sandwich. the bread it comes on is really tasty. they also have soup and coffee drinks. this is a very good, reasonably priced place to go, although i still love corner bakery because there are no panera breads near my apartment.
my friends and i went here on Friday night. the bar is spacious and there is plenty of room to dance. it is definitely a fun place to hang out with a group. drinks aren't too expensive and on Friday they had a live band and all 80s music. it was such a blast. every song you know and love. great younger crowd to have some fun with.
we had these cupcakes at a work event. i got the lemon drop cupcake. while the frosting was delicious, i thought the cupcake itself was a little dry. however, my opinion was the minority in the office, so i am guessing my experience is not the norm and i definitely will try them again. there are so many different flavors that i am sure there must be something that i would like.
in general, targets tend to be pretty good stores, but this one blows all the others away. It is two stories tall! it is right down the street from my apartment so i end up going here for everything i could possibly need from groceries to electronics to cleaning supplies. the employees are always helpful and they always have what i need in stock or tell me if it is available online. every time i go in there i end up leaving with more items than i intended! :)
this place has very cute clothes, but they are almost guaranteed to fall apart on you after you try to wash them. you have to sift through everything to find something worth buying. it will probably be trendy, but probably wont be something that will last. but for a last minute outfit for the weekend this is the place
this place has terrific food. they have pretty big portions but it is pricey for just breakfast. the waiters and ambiance make up for it. the restaurant itself is very very small but it has a sidewalk patio area that faces green street. on Sunday mornings there is very little traffic and this is a nice area to enjoy food with friends. they bring the coffee out on a saucer like its tea. it is totally cute-- and tasty. i would go here again; just make sure it isn't busy because it is a very small place
i would not have known to come to this spot without tom o's recommendation. it looked old and not very exciting every time i walked by. however, insider are some incredibly friendly waiters, huge red booths, nice atmosphere and terrific food. it is very reasonably priced. great place
my roommate and i walked to this place one Friday after work. We were surprised to find we had been missing out on some terrific Mexican food. we split the pollo burrito with red sauce, rice and beans. it was sooo good and soooo big. we couldn't even finish it between us! the meal came with the expected chips and salsa. the salsa was really good-- pretty spicy. it was tasty. the chips seemed a little stale, but with great salsa, they were OK. the second basket of chips we received were much better. the sangria and margaritas are fantastic and pretty strong. go there for dinner. if you stay too late, people in the bar get their liquid confidence and may start hitting on you. The girls are particularly forward-- especially if you are a girl too.... :/
