They have a good variety of teas and the ones that I've had are pretty yummy! They also offer food and smoothies and soon, crepes! It's located right in the middle of Chinatown mall so it's pretty convenient to find if you're in the area. It's also better priced and has better service than it's other tea competition next door, Tea Planet.
If you want anything more than a simple trim, I would suggest going somewhere else. The people here are pretty nice, but having to pay for coloring or special cuts isn't worth the price at all. A basic cut is about $8-$10 so it's a nice break from the pricier salons. Given that I got a pretty simple trim, she still did it wrong, but I guess its what I expect from a cheap hair salon...Not planning on going back
Since all but one of the other family attractions are closed down, watching a 51s baseball game is worth seeing. You can't expect much from Las Vegas sports, but I don't think kids can tell the difference when there's nothing left for them to do but go to arcades. They have fun things going on during the entire game to keep people cheering and hoping! They also have different nights or days where people can get free stuff! When we went, we got a free shirt! The price of a ticket is really cheap too, compared to a lot of other things in Vegas!
It seems as though they always have a puppy sale where the puppies are at least $600 below what everyone else is selling their puppies for. Usually, that's a good thing, but when you walk into this store, you just have this weird vibe that you don't trust. The puppies are very cute, but the staff seems to have a different story when we ask where they're from. It's not a clean store at all...They had puppies running around where there's old urine stains and dead bugs. There were also two pregnant hostile dogs in one unsanitary, small cage for people to see. Something is just not right with that place. If you want a cheap puppy, you might want to look into going there, but be cautious!
The pricing is ridiculous...They wanted us to pay over $200 for two small circles that's not more than 2 inches in diameter! They told us not to go down the street to this other tattoo parlor, but when we did, that place only charged $50 each and did a great job! Precious Slut II has a clean store, but I would never pay that much to get anything done there...Unless you're a tourist that wants to do soemthing crazy, don't go there!
I've been to alot of amazing museums but Ashes and Snow is something different. The set up itself is incredible, comprised of just cargo boxes. The films he uses and the pictures blow you away as you sit and take it all in. The website also is highly recommended since it gives you a very good preview of what the artist, Gregory Colbert, does. If you're in the area, DEFINITELY check it out since it's only there 'til May. Well worth the $15 admission price, or $10 for students!
They're way more expensive than I thought they would be. I think they charge so much because they're usually found in shopping malls where it's very convenient to just drop off your jewelry while you shop. For a simple engraving that wasn't more than 4 characters, it was $30 and it only took about 10 minutes. The jewelry stores that I knew about didn't even do engravings so that's why I brought it to them. They also charged $150 just to replace the backings of a pair of earrings that needed to be changed as soon as possible! I'm hoping I can find someone better...on Insider Pages!
I've have my whole family tint their cars from DC Auto. They do a nice clean job with no bubbles, even after 5 years. If there were any problems with the tint, you just bring it back because of their Lifetime Warranty. They also give a nice variety of shades to suit whatever you're looking for. Also, got the car back pretty quick after dropping it off! HIghly Recommend!
They're a whole lot cheaper than going to the dealer and that's always a good thing! The guy checked my engine light and was able to fix in a timely manner! He showed me exactly what was wrong and even showed me the old part, not that I really cared to see it. He seems very honest with what he does. It's a little hard to understand them since they have a strong accent, but well worth the service! I will definitely go to them if I have any other problems with my Toyota.
The place was pretty hard to find, but I was able to drop off my car cd deck anytime. The staff was nice, but it took way too long to get fixed. The lady at the front desk told me they would have an estimate within a couple weeks, but ended up calling me after a month. So, during that time, it hadn't even been fixed yet! That took about another week and a half. Overall, they did fix it, and it cost me about $140 because the faceplate got stuck. So, I don't even know if that's a good price or not but at least I have my stereo back.
