USF has one of the most beautiful campuses in the entire bay area. They are currently remodeling some of the older buildings like Campion Hall, but finished with McLaren Schoo of Business and University Center. The education here is top notch, and there are great number of diverse students that attend this school. If you are not just into education, there are tons of blubs/frats/sororites that you can join to keep you busy. The tution is pricy...26 thousand per year, but uSF offers great financial aid packages. Excellent school.
Skyline College is not like average junior colleges. Most of the junior colleges in the bay area are hugh, with too many students and difficulty getting classes. Skyline is not at all like that. There are not many students that attend this campus which makes getting your classes easier. It is also comparable in price to all the other junior colleges in the bay ara. And there are not alot of hidden fees.Thats the best part! Everythingis out in the open.
There are way too many people that attend SF State. It is really difficult to get all of teh classes that you want, even as a senior. The tution is not that high, but there are so many hidden student fees that it is ridiculous. And teh area that it is located is so busy. Always traffic. But it is close to muni, which is a big plus. The education, I found, wasn't all that challenging. We did alot of the same stuff that I did back in high school.
I took my sister to do a project at the California Palace of the Legion of Honor and since it was a free day, I went in with her. They had a featured section of all the works of Picasso. It was absolutely amazing. I would out that they feature atrists like this all of time. Everyy once in awhile, they offer different education exhibits. This is a wonderful place to visit, exspecially with the kids. It will teach them more about art. And if you go at diffreent times, you can see multiple, yet different exhibits.
If you like the concept of modern art, then this is the museum for you. It offers thhousands of beautiful art to view and discuss with your freinds. A wide array of atristic paintaings can be found here. Parking is very hard in SF, so it might be feasible to hop on public transporatation. Overall, visiting the museum of meoden art was a fun and educational experience. Highly recommended.
I never really paid much attention to the Oakland Zoo. Until recently I didn't really know that it existed. I attened a small children's birthday party and I was quite impresses by the zoo. The mini train in the front is an excellent addition to any family outing. The zoo is not as big as the zoo in san francisco, but it doesn't lack its own charm. Another great place to visit in the bay area.
The San Francisco zoo is one of the hidden treasures of teh city. Everone seems to take this zoo for granted. I love it here! Its quite a large zoo so there is alot of walking. But is a wonderful place for childre to learn and explore. I like the petting zoo the best because there is interaction between you and the pets. This would definitely be a wonderful family outing. It does get a little chilly in this area because it is so close to the water. But its awonderful place to visit..many many times.
This tanning salon is just a few blocks from my house and am I glad. The people here are very freindly. They listened to concerns intently and asnswered all of my questions. they were never pushy or rude. And the tanning salon itself is so clean and well mainatined. The lady helped me to pick out just the right procedure to try. She didn't try to sell me products, but she just recommended a whole bunch in a wide range of prices. Good tanning experience.
My best freind recommend this place to me. She told me that they do a good job even though they are not the nicest of people. I decided to check it out thinking how bad could it be. I had a horrible time!! The lady that did my nails was the ridest person that I have ever met. She barely gave me time to pick my polish color. She kept telling me to hurry up. So I actually got fed up with her. I left th ejar of polish on teh conter and walked right out. I don't even think that she cared that I left. I would never return to that horrid salon.
I tried this salon one time when I needed to get my nails done and they were the only available place on the block. Their service is okay, but they are not too freindly. They rush you to pick a color. that is something that I hate to ush because i want it to be perfect. The quality of their polish is good, does last for a long time. And the prices are same in the middle range. Not dirt cheap, but not high end either.
