We boarded our greyhound here for 12 days when we went on vacation. She came out happy and bouncy, and didn't have any personality changes. The staff is friendly, and this place always fills up early for the holidays. I also like that it is attached to a vet facility, incase something happens during my pet's stay.
The staff at The Golden Paw immeditely put us at ease about boarding our dog. I especially love the private rooms, which are nicer than the standard caged kennel. They also offer doggie day play, with an area for small dogs and an area for large dogs.
An AAA membership is a must for everyone who drives. We love their excellent maps and guidebook resources. Also, I've been save a few times by having them jump my car or fish out my keys. Roadservice staff is always helpful. An AAA membership also makes a great gift.
OB Gas just instituted a discount for cash. I love it. Always cheaper than Shell up the block. Staff is helpful and there is on0site auto service, though I have not used those services.
I had a temporary crown some loose on a weekend, and was unable to be seen by my dentist. I called a dental referal place, and they suggested Western Dental. I show up at the office, and after seeing the place for 3 minutes, I decided there was no way I would be letting them treat me. The front desk staff was unhelpful, and the waiting room was dingy and was not comfortable. You can see the dental rooms from the street side, and the equipment looked old and out of date. I don't know if all there office are like this, but there is no way I can recommed this one.
I started going to this office when my previous dentist stopped accepting my insurance. I went to Mission Valley Dental for several years, partly hoping the experience would improve. This office practices what I call "assembly line dentistry". Go in for xrays, go back into the lobby, go in for cleaning, go back in the lobby, then go see the dentist. Also, I feel like their insurance coordinator/"sales manager" was somewhat pushy on treatments. I would not recommend this office.
Nice people and a nice place to wash your dirty pooch. Our dogs particularly love the blueberry facial. Makes their faces so sweet smelling, you can't help but give them doggie kisses.
I have had two VWs that have enjoyed an extended life thanks to Rich's Auto Service. I appreciate the fact that he always explains things ahead of time, and in terms than I can understand. Other shops then to gloss things over for female customers.
We take our dog and two cats to this office. Dr. Cordiero is friendly and thorough and answers all our questions. Also, the vet assistants always make our pets feel special. Dr. Cordiero performed knee surgery on our cat, and we are thrilled with the results. Our cat regained the full range of motion in our leg. Highly recommended.
The San Diego Union Tribune is the big dog in town when it comes to newspapers. The editorials are definately on the conservative side, but it's the main source for local news. We subscribe on the weekends, where they feature more indepth/quality coverage of the arts/home and garden/ and also for the coupons.
