This dermatology center has given me great treatment and takes my thoughts and feelings to heart. I'm not a number to them, I'm a person. I love that whene you find a doctor that actually listens to you.
I recommend them and their laser treatments to anyone.
PROS: listens to you
CVT has undergone some rennovations of late and they are more expansive now than ever. They still have the same criteria to enter, the same catalog, etc. But the buildings are fresh and new, and they seem to be more in tune with a real college now than a hole in the wall tech school they appeared like 10 years ago.
They have a great stocked bookstore that students will love.
PROS: stocked clean
Thsi bookstore has a great niche market and they keep it quiet and clean. They are very knowledgeable of their stock and they will help you whenever you need it. For christian books and accessories there is no other place I'd rather go.
PROS: knows their stock
I've gotten some really good deals here when I've needed bits and pieces to fill in when I'm doing a party or a get together. For an arrangement they tend to be a bit higher than others, but for smaller pieces they are great
I don't particularly like this florist as they tend to be a bit snobbish. I'd rather go to Flowers by jackie. But if you need a bouquet fast, they are very very quick.
CONS: service bad
Flowers by Jackie has been around forever it seems. They have a great selection and their prices are right. I go to them whenever I need a stunning arrangement because I know that they know how to do it right
PROS: great fresh flowers
CONS: could be a bit less expensive
Doug's place has some of the finest southern food I've ever tasted. Whether you are in the mood for fried chicken or meatloaf, or just want a veggie plate this place will satisfy. Its cheap, the waitresses are friendly and cute, and its standing room only whenever they are open.
If you have the chance I highly recommend going and eating there. You'll be coming back for more and more if you do.
PROS: food is good, service is fast
CONS: not open all the time
Roy's is a dirty store next to an abandoned pool. It is horribly overpriced, with many people that loiter and beg outside of the place. They seem not to clean, as its always very dirty. Most people I see shop there just buy beer and cigarettes. If you are wanting anything else, best to drive the few feet down the road to the Kroger.
PROS: open all the time it seems
CONS: dirty, unsavory and higher priced
I've been eating here over 20 years. It has some fine steaks and each entree will come with a plate of skillet cornbread, pintos, salad bar and bread. The salad bar has boiled shrimp on it some nights too.
This place is moderately priced, standing room only whenever the doors are open, but will tempt you and delight you. The wait staff are nice and helpful, plus the restaurant supports the local schools by hiring them most of the time.
Want good food and some fine people to serve you? It is all in the Homestead.
PROS: tasty, food is wonderful
CONS: not open every day
Kroger built an all new bigger store in East Rome and is now a wonderfully lit and completely stocked grocery store. With organic foods, meat departments, pharmacy, and a pharmacy drive thru there is now something for everyone.
I really like the 10 for $10 sales that have been a new part of Kroger since Spring.
Clean, friendly, this is the store for everyone
PROS: better than the west rome store, clean, bright
CONS: nothing changed as far as getting more variety in
