Wedding Angels
This store, located on the historic square in downtown Roswell, did not impress me. I thought that the selection was small and it felt like I wasn't allowed to touch anything throughout the store. The store is divided into 2 sections, one is for bridesmaids and mothers of the bride and the other is for gowns. The prices were also very high.
Mast General Store
Whether you live in Boone or just passing through, this is a great place to stop in and do some window shopping or pick up some unique gifts to take home. My sister lives in Boone, and we always go by here to wander around. They have old fashioned candy and sodas downstairs and upstairs they have various outdoor gear on one side and then country-type items/gifts on the other side. Neat place for anyone in the family to enjoy!
Framemakers
If you are looking to have memorabilia or a document or print framed, this would be a great place to go. This store is owned by women, and when I went in, the staff was very friendly. Although the location for me is very convenient, I decided not to go with them for my framing needs because the price was higher than I wanted to pay.
Dry Clean Warehouse
This is a great place to get your drycleaning done- and the price is right! I have been very pleased with my suits and dress shirts, they are always pressed nicely. The staff is very friendly. The only drawback is that they don't take charge card, so remember to have your check or cash handy, and there is no drive through, which is a nice thing to have at a dry cleaners. Overall, I would recommend this dry cleaners!
The Potted Plant
I was not born with that magic touch with plants, but this store encouraged and inspired me to work on my landscaping and greenery around my home. There are many unique items located in this store. The outside of the store invites you in with many different things to look at, and the staff is very friendly.
Banfield Pet Hospital
Banfield Pet Hospital is located within PetSmart. This allows for a very convenient location, but I don't think this is an optimal place to go to get your pet cared for. The staff is friendly enough, but in my past experiences at other vet offices, I don't feel that this has the same level of caring as those places. After I took my dog there for the initial check up, I found another vet office that I felt to be more inviting and my dog felt more comfortable.
Pupsi, Inc
My dog is a bit afraid of other people and has seperation anxiety when she is away from me. I was hesitant to leave her at a kennel for the weekend, but when I got there, I felt so much better. The staff was very friendly and everyone else there was very happy with the place. When I picked up my dog after the weekend, she was so happy to see me, but was sad to leave! They said that she had a great time playing with other dogs, and did well with the staff. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to board their dog. They have a large facility and the dogs get plenty of time outside to play and run around. They also offer training although I have not looked into it.
