This is a wonderful store to come to and check out high end appliances. They have every brand on their showroom floor. The lighting department is awesome to say the least. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and they are open on weekends. I love the GE cooking demo's and all the wonderful ideas they give you. I never knew my microwave was so smart...hee hee
If you have a hankering for some down home Italian food Momo's is the place to go. The reasonable priced restaurant is quant and the decor is lovely. It's a small place so it's quite and charming. The staff is wonderful and helpful. Great for first dates, and families too.
PROS: Great Food without the high price.
WOW, Pam knows her cakes. She reasonable prices and boy it's worth every penny. So you budget brides to be need to call PAM. She showed up early for my event, set up was complete and her work is exquisite and professional. We even invited her to stick around enjoy the party. She's just that nice. When you walk by the table where the cake was placed, you can smell just how good the cake will taste. The cakes were awesome inside and out. Great flavors and fantastic designs. Call and have her quote your next event. She won't let your down. NOW the bad news, she so good that she books up fast, This is not her main profession, she works for a lawyer during the day and this is her side business. But she's well worth it. Tell Pam I sent you.
PROS: Super Yummy, and great prices
Thanks to Dr Fine and his amazing group I'm cancer free. Sure I did most of the grunt work, but with his help in the OR and the help of the wonderful nurses, and of course chemo I'm here today writing this review. I knew I was in good hands after my fist meeting with Dr. Fine. While waiting to speak to the nurse about setting up my surgery date, Dr. Fine saw me sitting in a chair and walked over and hugged me. He told me, "I was going to be alright'. I was so freaked out by being told that I had cancer 2 days prior it was nice to see I was working with a doctor that cared enough to hug me. It was from that moment that I knew I would survive this messy cancer stuff and that I had the right Doctor for the task. He'll tell you that I'm a hoot and that he wished all his patience had my spirit and attitude but I only have them because of his skills as a doctor. I gave him a hard time and joked around A LOT and he was nice enough to put up with my silliness. I built my cancer dream team and Dr. Fine's my number 1 player. I've referred him to family and friends with cancer. I owe him my life, he's my HERO-Thanks Dr. Fine If Dr. Fine's unavailable see Dr. Alan Munoz his partner, he's super sweet too.
PROS: Top in his field, and just a super nice guy.
CONS: Gotta have Cancer to see him.
My first visit with Dr. Amy I told her of my scary family history of cancer. Cancer killed my Mother in 18 months and Aunt in 12. This family cancer of ours NEVER shows any signs that it's present until it's to late, and youre given the death sentence. It sucks when you KNOW that you have a huge cancer target on your uterus. Dr. Amy placed me on her aggressive checkup list. I saw her every 6 months. When I developed a small problem I checked in with Dr. Amy and she ran blood tests. My tests came back fine, but Dr. Amy asked me to "humor her" and decided to do a biopsy in the office, right then and there. (Btw-a very painful procedure)The very next day she called me with my results, "CANCER". Argh!!! If Dr. Amy hadnt preformed the biopsy I'd be dead and not writing this review. I was in stage 3, with 4 types of cancer, all high grades. We women know that seeing the OB/GYN is a drag, but I would have rathered "Cowgirled Up", got into those stirrups, then have had to deal with this cancer mess. So "Cowgirl Up" with Dr Amy. She maybe a small women, but she mighty in my book. I owe her my life. -Thanks Dr. Amy, you ROCK!! My HERO
I entered this Beauty Brand's while finishing up my Chemo treatments and Amanda Farrish was the nicest and friendliest person I had dealt with in a rotten year of fighting cancer. She created a wonderful look with only the few hairs I had left. Once my eyebrows started growing back she tamed them back into submission.(heehee) She's also my daughter stylist. She patient with her and treats her with care. My daughter has Down syndrome. Amanda is great person and I now consider her a friend. It's hard to change stylist but Amanda made is a breeze. I can't wait to grow more hair so I can see her.
PROS: Very skilled, sweet, and experienced
This is my favorite restaurant the instant I tasted the food. WOW, this place is awesome, the prices are reasonable and the decor is fantastic for families, friends, and coworkers. The menu has something for everyone, and the staff is fast friendly and well worth the drive to Plano. The beef and seafood are awesome and I will continue to frequent this restaurant as often as I can. They have a small sports bar up front with the dinning room off to the side. Great for 1st dates, birthdays, and whatever special occasion you can conjure up. You'd be a fool for not trying this place. Super Yummy, if you go home hunger it's not their fault. This place puts Smith and Wollensky's and Bob's Chop House to shame. Beef lovers unite, and check this place out.
PROS: Great food, service, decor, and prices..Oove Love this place
CONS: Located on a service road which is a drag, but well worth the hassel.
Ok, I love the hole-in-the-wall restaurants but this surpassed my expectations. I wandered in for lunch and it was a delighted and surprised by the fantastic service and lunch specials. The menu offers something for everyone. The summer rolls were excellent and the have take out as well. My office frequents this restaurant and we have recommended to everyone within our building. I have 5+ years of experience with Thai Orchid. Great for first date, business luncheons and personal dinning. Heck call the girl friends up and meet up here for lunch or dinner. With under $8.00 lunch specials you can't go wrong. A+++
PROS: Awesome, worth a try..
Ok, I'm a beef lover but the steaks served at Smith and Wollensky's are no better that the steaks I've had at Mac's Grill in Plano or one of the Bob's Chop House located here in Dallas. The atmosphere is wonderful, The decor and service is unparalleled. But what's all the fuss about. Paying $12 and up for 1 glass of wine is nuts. I will give the kitchen coodos on the shrimp mango salas appetizer. It's not on the menu but it will melt in your mouth. I will return to Smith and Wollensky's for a second change. Maybe it was off night for me. Maybe it was due to the table we were seated that was crammed behind a pillar. Our view was of a hallway where every employee and customer used or the pillar itself. We ate at Smith and Wollensky's during the 2005 Food Bank fund raisers, but we ordered from the regular menu and not the prepared manu with discounted prices. That was our mistake, $175 for 2..argh!!!
PROS: Creative dishes, service
This is a fabulous restaurant. Great for first dates, anniversarys and birthdays. The menu has a great variety for a wonderful dinning experience. Enjoy the experience.
PROS: Fabulous food and atmosphere.
CONS: Long waits to get a table, the word is out.
