Smoky Mnt. Knife Works is a place for the entire family, not just the guys! The kids love the museum look downstairs and their selection of toys and goodies and the ladies love the shopping down there as well, with stationary, jams and jellies, kitchen needs, pictures, candles, etc. They have all the TN souvenirs you would want! And they have an excellent variety of knives for every need - camping, cooking, hunting, display and collecting.
If you are in the area, just stop by, even if you are not a knife collector. They have a little something for everyone!
Jaqua's has a wide variety of party needs rentals, from tables and table cloths, to candlabras, and even catering and decorating supplies. The employees were all very professional and very helpful. Jaquas is the place to go for weddings, banquets and any party needs!
Fisher and Sons is a local scrap yard. They take just about everything and can even come remove all the junk you have for a nominal fee. He has helped us clean out all our scrap metals. It's good to have some one local to take things to or to have come remove it in a pinch.
Portland's Museum of the Solider is a local treasure. The artifacts inside are in such detail and the descriptions and stories the go along with them give them so much more meaning. There is a wonderful sculpture of a solider done by a local artist there. Take the family out and step back in history!
Eli's Cheesecake Factory was the neatest tour we had been on! We went for a Senior Trip and toured the factory, saw the process for chessecake being made and then got to sample some afterwards. Not only was the cheesecake the best, the people were very friendly and answered all our questions.
Do yourself a favor and stop by!!!!!!!!

This is a nice small Jo Ann. They have a wide varieyt of fabrics available. They have a nice selection of Christmas items as well. They don't have much in scrapbooking, but I've noticed not many places in Michigan do.
Mr. English is a very good attorney. He was very pleasant to deal with and was very open and up-front about things. Even though he wasn't able to help us with our case due to the distance it would be tried, he was still willing to do what he could. We will go back to Mr. English for any of our local needs and counsiling.
Mr. Rohrer is a really good attorney. He has worked with us and some friends of ours. David was very thorough and efficient and he was very honest with us. We would highly recommend Mr. Rohrer to anyone in need of an attorney! And if he can't help you, he will refer you to someone he feels would do the best job.
