This is a place that I really thank God for because they are there to assist the low-income with utility bills such as electric and gas (I think water bill, but I'm not 100 percent sure.) They also help customers (low-income) with weatherizing their homes such as giving new windows. They offer the use of computers for job searches. They offer classes too. I feel they can be nicer, but, even if they are not, the help is what is needed most.
I would definately not recommend shoppping here. They offer incredible good sales to draw in the crowd, but they offer junk that I would not want to feed to my dog, if I had one. Most items are spoiled. Why? I do not know. Customer Service is horrible. You have to fight really hard to get a situation taken care of. Good prices is not worth it. I would rather pay higher prices for quality food and good customer service in the event something went wrong. Run the Other Way!
My first encounter with the Harvey Park District was when I called them to ask if they offered sewing classes for adults. No, they did not offer what I was looking for, but they mailed me a list of the things that they did offer. I thought that was very nice of them, so that shows they are very helpful. They offer many classes for children that is affordable, and some classes for adults. Just call to see what they are offering for the current semester! Custermer Service is the best!
My neighbor introduced my to this park which is located very close to my home. I thought that they only catered to Dolton, but, they also cater to surrounding cities as well (nice.) They have a really nice size park where you can walk for free-you will see and meet other walkers too. They have a fitness center that you can join that offers all kinds of machines, as well as water exercises-this is not free, however.
It is has been a long time since I've been here, and I know that it is because things are so cheap(the quality, that is.) My friend kept bugging me to go, so I did. It took me a long time to walk around the place, but I only bought a few item because I didn't want to waste my money. Really nice prices on some things, but quality is cheap. Poor customer service too.
If you have any type of plumbing needs, I would recommend shopping here. I went to when I needed to replace a toilet that was accidently broken. I was pleased to find the right kind of toilet. It is very expensive to me, but you will find what you want. After all, you do get what you pay for. If you can afford to pay more, shop here.
Very convenient location, which is a huge plus for me. They offer phones from many different companies such as US cellular, spint, nextel, Booth, t-mobil, verision, ez link, etc. They offer a variety of plans which is good because there are many people with different situations. No credit check. You can sometimes keep the same phone number.
I have shopped at this store many times and I highy recommend that you shop here if are in the business of heating and air conditioning. They are very organized. They are friendly and helpful. You take a number and wait to be called while you can look around. Prices are wholesale. That is great.
I will always keep my Old Time Portrait! If you want to take a picture looking like you are from the old days, go here if you are in the Dells. You can choose from several different old clothes to dress up in (you're not actually putting it all the way on...It's just tied on you from the back). The background and color also looks like you're from the old days. The picture development is fast, so, the wait is not long. Beware! You have to pay extra for the frame if you want one.
I was really happy to find this library. Since the neighborhood has many hispanic people, this library had many resources in spanish. Since I am learning to speak spanish, I have found many resources here. They offer many hispanic cultural events. I attended the 15th of September Mexican Independence program and was able to learn a lot about their culture. I really like this library and the staff is nice and helpful.
