When I first bought my car, I use to go to this car wash all of the time. They did a good job on my car. At certain times, the line was very long (I would sometimes wait an hour), but it was worth the wait. I even paid the expensive price. what happened? I found out that the undercarriage was was broken, but they still were allowing customers to pay extra( when they chose the higher package) for this service. When I found out about it, I confronted the cashier. She did take off a few dollars. What about all of the times I over paid? They didn't offer a refund. I don't know if it's fixed, but, I'm not taking any chances. I go somewhere else that's good and a lot less expensive.
PROS: Top and Inside of Car got Cleaned
CONS: Lied about cleaning my undercarriage.
I've been going to this museum ever since I was a little girl. My last visit was this summer (2005.) BodyWorld was "THE BOMB!) No Nursing or Biology class could beat seeing this. It showed the human body in ways that I could never have imagined. This museum is huge. I could handle walking around better when I was younger. If you're older, you will have to rest in between exhibits. I really don't thing that ANYONE could see the entire museum on one day. They always have new things to see, but I think some exhibits will be there forever. The bathrooms are huge, so, you won't have to wait long. Admission into the museum, as well as to see some of the exhibits, is a little expensive, but admission is free on some days (excluding exhibits and only during some months, so call first.)
My Spanish class scheduled a visit here, and I'm glad they did. It's small, but nice. I could not believe that entance to this place is free! Donations are accepted though. It's very clean. It's a great place to learn hispanic culture. When you first enter, there are several newspapers (bilingual in english and spanish) that you can take for free. Reading these papers will help anyone who is learning spanish. Next, there is a small store where many different kinds of items can be purchased. Even if you're not learning spanish, this still is a great place to go.
I'm not really into Astronomy, but this museum makes it interesting. So, if you're in Chicago, give them a visit. It's a little expensive to me, especially if you have a big family or a have a low income. However, sometimes, they offer free days (call to check before you go.) The sky show, to me, is the best part. You're lying back in comfortable seats, watching a virtual, awesome show in the ceiling! It is so real. It feels like you're moving! They always have new exhibits too.
I travel many many miles to shop here, so, that will tell you how much I like it. The best thing that I like about it is that, unlike most thrift stores, there is no bad smell! The clothes are well organized, and they are nice. The prices are not bad either. Recommended!
This is the place to pay fines (tickets, water bills, garbage bills, etc), and to buy city stickers. Many people don't know it , but they have free notary service...I use to pay a fee next door. Usually, the service is good, but occasionally, they ladies are not in a good mood. You may have to wait in line for a long time even though you are they only one in line. You're looking at them and they're looking at you...this is crazy. Sometimes they forget to give you everyting , so, you have to know what you need and ask them.
This small beauty supply store has a variety of items to choose from. You can also shop here for things like pantyhose, purses, scarves, perfume, telephone cords, lotion, etc..I like being able to kill more than one bird with one stone. They're friendly here and will help you find things. The prices are not bad either.
I like that this store has a huge variety of items to buy. In addition to beauty items like shampoo, conditioner, etc, they sell shoes and clothes. This is nice if I need a shirt , a hat, or a pair of shoes. Their clothes are offered in huges sizes for plus size people. I did have an incident where a bought an electric hair item that didn't work. I could not find the receipt, and they didn't give my money back or offer a store refund. I was treated very cold. That was a lot of money wasted! I was furious. So, beware before you buy!!! Maybe just stick to buying shampoo, conditioner, or a cheap shirt or pair of shoes that you re
I would recommend shopping here if spending money is not an issue for you. Other then that, only shop when they have a good sale. What I do like about this store is that they have an onsite bank, cleaners, and pharmacy, so you can kill a few birds with on stone. The quality of the food, overall is nice.
Woody Winson, a South suburban community healthcare center is a place to go because you can't afford anything better. It's very unorganized. Most appointments are booked three months away...that's a long time to wait when you're really sick. Many times, after waiting the three months, I was reschedlued only to have to wait another three months (even with serious situations). When you get there, the wait is long and the charts are not pulled. One time I waited hours!...they would never have called me(I had to go up and inquire what was going on) because my chart was not pulled. Another time, they never found my chart, so, they had to make me another one, so, all of my previous information is lost. As a whole, I don't like it here.
