If you go to Philly, you cant miss going to this museum it has ton's of Rodin's sculptures, any size, different techniques. The place is just beautiful, located in the museum area of Philadelphia, the building the entrance has a big garden that was being remodelled when I went there the last time, the front door is one of the bigests and most important sculptures made by Rodin "The Gates of Hell", it is just impresive... specially because took im like 27 years to finish this piece of art.
PROS: Great collection, cheap fee
This bookstore has a little bit of everything. It is a small booksotre but you can find a great selection in books, it is very enjoyable to find such a tiny bookstore that is not as overwhelming as the common big bookstores out there. It is great also because they have a small cafe inside but it sells a lot of things besides coffe, they have a great black beans soup that is very popular, and they sell all kind of breads as well. This is definetely a great place to read a book or the newspaper while having something to eat at the same time. Don't miss the bread basket with olive oil is cheap and delicious.
PROS: Charming, small place, nice to be in
I have been insuring my car through this agency for my second year in a role. They helped me finding a great quote and I am probably saving about 600$/year compared to what I was paying before with a different insurance agency. They are highly efficient and professional. I receive my paperwork every six months in a timely manner and my payments are through the insurance company over the web. Very convenient.
PROS: Efficient, professional, convenient
The person that runs this business really knows what he is doing. He knows every detail about tax preparation forms regardless of what state you are calling from. If you get to have a personal interview, he behaves in a very professional manner, he keeps a very organized log and will give you great advice. I have done my taxes with them for two years in a row and the work is well done. Highly reccommended.
PROS: Professional, Efficient
If you are looking for the best products from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, England, Germany, Switzerland, then this is the place to go. You will find cheese from old the abome mentioned countries. You have a lot of olives you can choose and try. If you like salamis, chorizos.. then this is the place to come. The place gets crowded on weekends and the wait may be long but it is grateful, given that you can try things while you wait in line. The people that works there is great.
PROS: Great products
CONS: Small place, sometimes difficult to park in the area on weekends
This is a relatively new place in Philly, but is as good as the old DiBruno Brothers located in the italian market. It is much larger than the old one, here you will find a great variety of products of the best quality. If you like good cheese, olives, olive oil, delicatteses, bread, salami's and chorizos... this is the place to go. You will be in good hands. Here you don't have to wait that long to get what you are looking for like in the old place. Two thumbs up.
PROS: Best quality of products in town. Nice place.
Simply the best. If you really want to feel like visiting a typical Buenos Aires "Confiteria" (bakery), then this is the place to go. They are as good as the best confiterias in Buenos Aires. You will find a great variety of sweet pastries so called facturas, and you will love them if you have never tried them before. They also have sandwich's "the miga" (just a very thin layer of bread and a thin layer of a variety of things inside, just delicious. Also have the typical empanadas and a good variety of "pasta seca" (small sweet cookies). The place is nicely located over Collins Av in the so called Little Buenos Aires area. You can seat in the bakery or even outside and enjoy a nice coffe or mate and eat pastries, you can read your newspaper there, talk to your friends and no body is going to rush you out like in most american owned places. This place is ran by argentineans only, many of them speak english, some of them just speak spanish. The place is so good that is always crowded by argentineans living in Miami Beach.
PROS: Symply the best, Nice place, Great food, Excellent service.
The place is probably to large and customer attention is not that good. Very crowded, a lot of people seen and very few attendants available to help you out. I went to buy something and when I asked a lady to tell me if she had a larger stone in a certain price range she answered me arrogantly that there was nothing at that price range in the whole store. Thing that was not true because I asked in other floors and I found sort of what I was looking for. I just did not buy it because of the service I received. This place is very popular and very well known, but honestly it does not deserve that you invest anything there.
PROS: Big store
CONS: Poor customer service
If you are the type of person that is more sophisticated than the average american, that want to see much better movies than the ones produced in Hollywood, then this is the place to go. The will have the best and more succesful international movies and low budget movies. The cinema itself is special and different than the others, is just like going to a cinema from 20 years ago. The best stuff: you get real popcorns, no added butter.
PROS: Old fashion, best movies
This is the store I always visit when I go to Miami, they will always have great deals and special sales. The store is big and is very well supplied, you will find any type of parts of excellent quality, cycling apparel and a variety of road and mountain bikes. Every once in a while they will do a great sale and we are talking of finding items for 2 to 10$ that usually cost between 20 to 80$. Sometimes they will have great sales on bijes too. Staff is really nice.
PROS: Great sales, variety
