I have heard some people refer to these Chinatown buses as being "sketchy," but I do not know anyone who has ever had a problem with them. This particular bus company actually does have a website. It is link for anyone who might want to check it out. The prices are cheaper than say Shortline or Greyhound, but not by as much anymore. The difference used to be very large, but I think that Greyhound has been cutting their fares because of companies like this one. I believe that there are destinations aside from Boston, like Baltimore, Washington D.C., etc.
If you are ever in the need for a quick repair, give this place a shot. They have a convenient location and do a pretty good job. Their prices are fair, and the service is not bad. Keep them in mind if you find yourself in a fix and are in the area.
This little place is nothing special, but they do a decent job if you need a manicure. It is conveniently located on a major street in this small town. There should not be a need to make an appointment, unless perhaps around prom time, but it would not hurt to do so just in case.
We usually wash our own cars, but sometimes it's good to just go to a car wash to get it done. It is pretty cheap and definitely saves you time. They do a good job and are pretty friendly. Their location and hours are convenient. I would certainly recommend them if you live in the area.
This place is not bad. They are not as consistent as I would like, but they do a decent job. The prices are definitely reasonable and the people are friendly. If you are not looking for anything too complicated and dont really care if it is not an upscale place, this place may be worth a shot.
As can be expected, there isn't a large variety, but you can find some reasonable deals here. I think it is still better to shop around either online or at larger chains to get better prices, but sometimes that may not be feasible. Going to small stores like this definitely has a different feeling though, in a good way.
Music is good for the soul, and the brain. It is good for children to learn how to play a musical instrument, even if it is only for a short while. Andys is where everyone goes to buy or rent instruments. They have everything you need from the instrument itself to the sheet music, which is available at all different levels.
I suppose I had low expectations for this place since it is on a busy road, which did not seem like the ideal location, but the store is actually quite nice. It is somewhat upscale and pricey, but the styles are current and the quality is good. The service is also pretty good. Definitely check it out sometime.
This place has a lot of cameras for great prices. The downside is that it is not a chain, so their return policy is not that great. However, if you are touring New York City and your camera battery suddenly dies, you can drop in to buy a new one. They advertise in local papers, and deals look good.
This apartment complex is close to campus, especially for Arts School students. It is right across from the Undergraduate Admissions Office and has roomy apartments for pretty cheap. There are tennis courts across the street and a bus stop on the corner. There is also free parking for residents. If you dont mind not living in collegetown, this is a great place to live. Management also responds quickly to needs for repairs.
