This place has all you would ever need to decorate your country home. The smells of scented candles and wood and pine fill the air. Adorable dolls and bears line the country shelves, as well as artwork and other things. Right in the town of Bedford, its a great place to spend an hour on a weekend afternoon. If your are a crafty person its a good place to get ideas from and make yourself.
I would love a job at this place but i would be big as a house. So many flavors or icecream and frozen yogurt with satisfy your cravings. Try their banana splits, these are filled so much they will come oozing over the edge. I love their twist cones, they will ahve weekly frozen yogurt twist specials, i myself prefer the banana berry twist. They are a lil pricey but well worth it in my opinion.
I love the atmosphere in this place, very classy yet frontier like. You can view the bison roaming right outside the windows. Many gift ideas for the nature and animal lover on your holiday buying list. Also if you are into Bison meat, you can also purchase fresh burgers ect. from this friendly bunch of folks.
I was weary going into this place from the exterior seemed very outdated, once inside the outside looked liked a palace compaired to the out of date furnishings inside. But, if you like good food and dont care about where you are eating it this is the place. Try the lunch buffets for the best bang for your buck, the spaghetti was jsut like my grandma use to make.
This restaurant is very homey in look and feeling. They have great childrens meals that are served in a cardboard 50's car. The main meals are very homestyle cooking with moderate portions covering your plate. The desserts is what i crave, pies of all kinds plus they have a drive in exterior where you can get a big cone of one of the best ice cream around.
This store has the greatest deli around with very resoanble prices. Bulk items to many to mention, although many of the dried fruits and baking supplies are great to have on hand for the holiday time of year. Every produce item i have gotten from them has been fresh and long lasting. Cons to this place i think they need more registers open, it gets very bust on saturdays their.
This business is great and defiantely one that bedford has needed for a long time. Merchandise and crafts as far as the eye can see. They also have discount groceries in the back although most of them have expired dates. Cons to this place is that the owners and casheers are far from friendly and you have to ask for a receipt which is a pain and when u do, 9 times out of ten they have over charged you.
I just love this place. To see all the old buildings and artisans at work is a day to remember. Holidays at the village are also memerable, with the carolers walking, and the horse drawn carriage waiting to take you from building to building. The smells of fresh gingerbread man cookies fill the air as well as hot food wofting from the food tavern. Come and watch as play put on my talented actors.
I just love this place to get my dog shots and taken care of. This no frills place is good for those that do not have alot of money. Even to get your animals spade or neutured is at very resonable rates. If you need literature on special programs for very low income families, they have that right for you when you walk into the door.
When seeing this place it would seem very small, but once inside it has ample seating. The views are great overlooking the golf course. The breakfast specials are a wonderful buy, eggs just as your order them. Cons to this place are, the waitresses are far from friendly but you may catch one on a good day.
