When this store was at it's previous location on S. Dale Mabry, it was an excellent furniture consignment shop. They moved it to a smaller store on S Henderson, and now it mostly has clothes and knicknacks, with no room for furiture at all. I was disappointed because I was looking forward to having a new place to get quality furniture. If it's not broken, don't fix it.
PROS: No furniture
I have bought several pieces of furniture here, from a small end table to a whole dining room set. The owner is friendly, helpful, and reasonable. He even helped us load the furniture onto the truck. The prices are fairly reasonable, and the quality of the furniture is excellent - from contemporary to antique.
PROS: Nice stuff
I had an andrew wyeth poster professionally framed there, and although it was slightly expensive, it was worth the money. The frame was chosen specifically to go with the muted colors of the poster, and was quite unusual. The customer service was good, and the piece was done in a matter of a few hours. Good job.
PROS: Nice frame
Good residential treatment for a wide range in population, including homeless individuals. Several different programs for men and women, including substance abusing mothers, forensic program, detox, long-term care, and halfway house. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Aftercare is available. Central location in Tampa. Can be difficult to get into.
PROS: good treatment program.
The only florist in Tampa I will use if I want a special arrangement of cut flowers. Great variety, great service, reasonable prices. Flowers are very fresh and the arrangements are artful rather than "cute". Central location and will deliver all over the Tampa area. Drivers are friendly and courteous.
PROS: Nice florist all around
I am pleased overall with this wireless service and store. The service is good, offers the most minutes for the least amount of money, and I never have problems with dropped calls or bad signals. Except going over the Howard Franklin Bridge, of course. Customer service is fairly good, although the sales people are sales people and can tend to want to make a sale more than making sure you get what you want.
PROS: Good service
Expensive for what you get. I liked the sea horse exhibit the best, and the petting tanks for the kids are nice, but I was somewhat disappointed by the whole experience for the price of admission. Oh, and the alligator tank was fascinating, and one of the handlers took one out so we could look up close.
PROS: Seahorses, alligator exhibit
CONS: Expensive for the experience
I have always enjoyed going to Lowry Park zoo to see the animals. The monkeys are my favorite. The workers are friendly and informative, and appear to take good care of the animals. The habitats in which they live appear to be most like the enviroment from which they came and appear to be in good health overall. The souveniers are expensive, though.
PROS: Great animals
Large variety of vitamins, minerals, and supplements. Friendly and helpful customer service staff. Store is clean, well stocked, and well organized. There is clearance corner where overstocked or discontinued items are sold at a large discount. Parking is a bit tight as there are only a few spaces, but the store has never been crowded when I have been there.
PROS: Good variety, clean, organized
I adopted a german shepard mix eight years ago from this shelter, and she brought me nothing but joy and happiness for those years. The shelter was professional, caring, thorough in interviewing me to make sure that I would provide a good home for the dog. I wished more people would adopt shelter dogs rather than buying from breeders.
PROS: Clean, professional, caring
