Ace Auto Care provides a high level of service with your auto repair. They won't rip you off or lie about something that you don't need to get repaired, so you don't have to worry too much about that.
The location may be difficult to find though, especially in the middle of many other auto mechanic shops.

There are lots of classes to choose from, in fact there is a wide range of majors to choose from. There are lots of students but most of them commute to school; so there isn't a heavy emphasis on school spirit or what not.
Magic Mountain Six Flags is known for its great roller coasters. There are just so many different kind of roller coasters that you can try. The park can get pretty crowded during summer weekends and such with very long lines for the ride.
Food is usually pricey too. Admission price can vary, you can usually find a coupon for it though.
Raging Waters is well known in Southern California for its wide arrange of water rides. They have all kinds of rides ranging from relaxing tube rides in a slow moving stream, to the crazy near-vertical plunging drop slide.
Prices are decent, and you can usually find a coupon somewhere. Lines for rides may get long during crowded periods. They also have fakes beaches if you want to just relax.
Santa Monica pier should be one of the better known landmarks in southern california. There are all kinds of things to do there, whether it be to go to the aquarium or ride the carousel.
Parking usually isn't too difficult, but it does cost money. You can always park around 3rd street and walk to the pier. There are some restaurants and arcades on the pier, but it's also a nice place to just sit and chill during a warm summer night.
Life Plaza is well known in the puente hills area as a local hang out to eat, drink, or shop for stationary and toys.
There are all kinds of different kinds of gifts to purchase, from magazines, to housewares, to stuffed dolls, to pens and stationary, to Asian snacks and candies.
There is also a restaurant inside where you can order various Chinese dishes as well as drinks.
Armand Hammer Museum had some very interesting pieces. I managed to get in free because I had a student ID. Some of the art pieces are quite amazing and are well worth visiting to check out.
The location is clean and classy. I don't remember how much it cost without a student ID, but it shouldn't be that much.
Puzzle Zoo on 3rd St. Promenade is a great little toy shop that has all kinds of different toys and hobbies to choose from. It can be a fun place with a couple friends to look at all of the toys and mess around with stuffed animals (the fake hamburger is pretty funny).
Prices can be kind of pricey, but well, it is Santa Monica.
Balboa Theater is a great location if you're into independent movies and such. If you're tired of watching the same old summer blockbusters then this is probably a good place to visit.
Prices are decent. The place has its own kind of charm to it. I enjoyed it a lot with my friends, i'm sure you will too.
Los Angeles Angels/Anaheim Angels are a pretty fun team to watch in the city of Anaheim. The stadium is pretty decent and close to the freeway. The Angels may not have had the chance to play in the world series but they still made it pretty far.
The food is pretty pricey but tastey.
