Legens is a cool hobby place, it has a fairy wide selection from action figures to plastic models to video games. I mainly went there for the modeling selection and model paint. They have the high quality Japanese stuff imported. They even had these cool model world war II dioramas made from plastic models. Check it out if you like these types of hobbies.
This place had a bunch of stuff, basically all kinds of products that you could think of. I just went in to get some hair gel and try some hair pomade. The prices were decent, since you're getting some quality salon stuff. If you're a woman looking for these types of products, you should check it out.
This place is great, the location is newly remodeled and has all kind of modern amenities like LCD TVs for you to watch while you get dental work done. My dentist Dr. Tsay (Tsai?) is great and tried to make sure you're comfortable, since most people don't like going to the dentist. Highly recommended.
I went to Ling Sports to browse their selection of firearms and such. It's a small place with a basic collection. The prices of firearms and ammunition did seem kind of high though. You may benefit from shopping and comaring to other stores before making any purchases. The guy there is kind of cool though, he was in the military or something.
It's a small place but it had a shooting range for about 8 or so people. It wasn't cheap as other shooting ranges I've been to; it wasn't cheap to rent a gun to shoot either. But if you live in the area and just want to go shoot off some rounds for an hour, you might want to check this place out. I don't have any experience in their gunsmithing work though.
This place fixed my car after it was invovlved in a traffic accident. They were able to hook me up with a good price and I even got to pay off the car. There were some problems in that it took a long time to fix and paint, and there were some difficulties along the way. But in the end I got my car back and it was in beautiful condition.
Dr Hung-Chuen used to be my primary phyiscal care physician, he was alright as physicians go. He was able to tell me if I was healthy or not. My medical insurance covered any visits except for a small co-payment. You may be able to find a better doctor elsewhere, but if you live in the area then its real close by.
This medical center has many different doctors and offices, but my doctor, Dr. Wu. Helped me diagnose some medical things for me. The center itself is pretty nice and clean. I didn't notice anything out of place or anything that would cause any concern. Recommened if you have a doctor covered by health insurance.
The Southern California College of Optometry helped me out with my eye care needs. The Optometricians are currently in school, but they seem to know their stuff and know about new technologies and practices. Your medical insurance may or may not cover this place though; mine didn't, since it was more of a phyiscal therapy type of thing for me.
City Plumbing Service came to fix my clogged kitchen sink. I think they did a good job, since they fixed the plugged up sink; it wasnt cheap though, but when you want a good job done, you gotta pay for it. They had to climb on the roof and use one of those plumbing snakes to clear the plug. I recommend it if you need professional plumbing services.
