I got tired of buying censored CDs at Wal-Mart, so I started getting them at Pocos. Their prices are higher and they don't always have everything I want in stock, but they'll order it for me and then call me when it gets in. They're a really great group of people.
Before we moved, we asked around for suggestions on truck rentals. We decided on Budget. They carry boxes and moving supplies and their local rates were low compared to most of the others we considered. The guys we dealt with were helpful and friendly. Would rent from them again in a heartbeat.
The Jockey Lot in Anderson is huge and one of the biggest flea markets in the area. It has over 500 booths and is always packed with people. The merchandise runs the gamut from great finds to outright junk, but there is something there for everyone. They also sell fresh produce. A great way to spend the weekend.
I took my guitar here to be repaired and they were a delight to talk to. They know their stuff. They sell, lease and repair musical instruments and they also offer musical lessons. They had all the major brands for keyboards, drums and guitars and they will do sound system installation.
I bought a couple of sports cards here and I was impressed with the way they do business. I knew ahead of time how much the cards should reasonably sell for and they quoted me a fair price on them. I also bought a model kit and we were interested in several of the antiques they had. The store has a nice selection of collectables, hobby supplies, sports cards and memorabilia. Fair prices and friendly employees.
First off, the store smells great as soon as you walk in. Our house is covered in candles as my wife is a fanatic about them and she does all her candle buying here. You can find just about any kind of candle here and these aren't the cheap, fast burning candles either. They're long burning and smell wonderful. The prices are nice too.
I had some body work done on one of my cars and I was really disappointed in the quality of their work. Also, the quoted price kept getting added onto (unnecessarily) and when I complained, they copped a major attitude and grudgingly backed down. Avoid this place.
Sammeth has been in business as long as they have, because they care about their customers. My wife went there to have a prescription filled, but had some questions about the drug. The pharmacist spent 20 minutes talking to her and she left reassured. They have a good selection of medical, hospital and pharmaceutical items and there's no long wait to get your prescription filled.
When I was shopping around for a new insurance carrier, I called the 'big two' (Allstate and State Farm) to get quotes. They were both really high considering I had a good driving record, so I made a few more calls and happened upon Cleveland. The lady I talked to on the phone was fantastic and based on that conversation alone, I dropped by and I've been with them for 2 years now. Friendly staff with lower premiums.
With the convenience of watching DVDs at home and having satellite television, I don't go to the movies as often as I used to, but when I do, I go to Easley Cinemas. They keep troublemakers to a minimum, there are never really long lines and the ushers are around if you need them. It's clean and comfortable and they always have new releases playing.
