United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is bleak and depressing, but offers an extensive exhibit to one of the greatest astrocities in history. Upon arriving, there will be a short wait, and then you will receive an identity card of a Holocaust victim, complete with a photograph and biographical information. The museum shows the history of Hitler's rise (complete with his writings), personal artifacts from Holocaust victims (shoes), which is probably the saddest aspect. There are descriptions of the gas chambers and of the medical experiments conducted on Holocaust victims, and stories recounted from survivors. At the very end, you will find if the person on your card survived or not. It's very grim, but a complete exhibit to learn about the Holocaust.
