Bella Flowers
I just recently purchased some bouquets, and decided to try Bella Flowers. I was very impressed with the service I received. The staff had very good suggestions. And, I thought the flowers that I ordered were a very good value for the money--the bouquets were much bigger than I expected. The shop also had a lot of gift items, not just flowers. This place is definately worth checking out.
Down On The Farm
Down on the farm is a nice horse and animal camp for kids. The prices are very comparable to other horse camps in the area. My only complaints would be that it can be very difficult to speak to with someone. If you leave a message, expect to wait awhile for a return call. Down on the farm also does birthday parties on the farm or they can bring a petting zoo to you. If your child loves animals, definately a party option worth checking out.
Fairview Lakes Regional Health Care
This clinic is so hard to get an appointment. Or for that matter if you need to go to urgent care, plan on a looooong wait. We don't even use them for urgent care anymore. I would say the medical care is satisfactory once you actually get in. The billing department is terrible. Be sure to pay close attention to your bills so you are not getting overcharged for things like copays.
Performance%20automotive
We have taken our vehicles to Performance Auto for repairs and service for several years now. This is a place you can trust to give you honest answers about the repair services needed. We have never felt like we have paid for things that were not needed. And we have never had problems after the repairs were done.
Minnesota Children's Museum
This is the place my kids always ask to go to. There is so much hands on play and learning, that they just can't get enough. It is nice because they have a seperate room for younger aged kids, so they don't get trampled over by older kids. Some of my kids favorites are the ant hill and the water table with the boats. A couple of times a year they have a different "visiting" display that is always a lot of fun. As an adult though, I have to admit that I sometimes get overwhelmed with the amount of kids.
Allina Health Forest Lake Clinic
Overall, this is a good medical clinic. It is nice because they have lab, x-ray, etc... all in one building. Most of the doctor's are great. My one complaint is that it can be really hard to get in and see a doctor if you are sick and need to get in that same day. Once my son had strep, and I was told I needed to talk to a nurse prior to getting an appointment. The nurse thought he should wait until the next day to come in and have a throat culture, and would not give us an appointment. That is the day I switched my kids to a different clinic. But, besides that I am generally happy with the clinic for my own health care.
Floral Trunk & Gifts
This is a very cute flower shop and gift store. The arrangements are beautiful, but tend to be pricey. The flowers seem very fresh though and again they make very nice arrangements. The store has gifts also, and they are very unique and change with the seasons. Definately a fun place to buy either a gift or flowers for someone.
Anderson Nancy Ruth
I was referred to the Metro Urology because I keep getting kidney stones. I ended up at the stone clinic. This place is the best. I am finally getting some answers as to why I keep getting kidney stones--and it is more complicated than just drinking more water. If you have kidney stones, try to get into this clinic to get answers. It can be difficult to get appointments sometimes, but definately worth it.
EYE CARE CENTER
I have been going to the Eye Care Center for a couple of years now. They have a very friendly staff and not long wait times. I wear contacts so I have not purchased glasses, but they appear to have a nice selection of eyeglasses to choose from. I would definately recommend them for your eye care needs.
Northland Endodontics
I just recently had my first root canal at Northland Endodontics. They have a beautiful office overlooking Forest Lake. The staff is very friendly and puts you at ease right away. I cannot speak highly enough of the endodontist who explained everything that was going to happen. I was comfortable right away. And, the root canal was nothing to fear. It actually was no worse than just going to the dentist, and I seriously felt no pain after the procedure. I highly recommend this office!!
