Soho Gem
Soho Gem is a very unique and small downtown jewelers located in lower Manhattan. I like to come here and browse around but I haven't bought anything since the prices are kind of high. However the pieces they have are one of a kind and lovely so I would suggest if you had some spare change and wanted something original this is the store to go to.
Janet Sterling Silver Design
I fell in love with Janet Sterling Silver Design when a friend of mine gave me one of her pieces for my birthday. It was this beautiful silver ring with gemstones that I just love love love. I went to her shop to see what else she has and her pieces just take my breath away. The shop is a little small but trust me for one of Janet's pieces you won't care.
S H Palace Jewelry
S H Palace Jewelry may not be the most upscale place but they do have some very nice jewelry. I've bought a couple of items from them over the years and I've never had any complaints with the jewelry or their level of service. The staff is always nice to me and gives me opinions about what does and doesn't look nice on me.
Golden Jade Jewelry Co Inc
I was a little worried about buying jewelry and the Golden Jade Jewelry in Chinatown what with the language barrier and not knowing what kind of items they had but a friend of mine swears by this place. So we went one day and the sales people were really nice and friendly and helped me pick out a really nice affordable pair of solid gold hoop earring for my sister. She is going to love them.

This store is just one of many jewelry shops located in Chinatown. What makes it stand out is the display they put in the window. Just by looking in the window display case outside you can see the gold and silver jewelry is good quality and taken care of. They have a very good selection and the store is very clean and organized. Friendly staff and good prices.
Tina Tang Studio
I love Tina Tang jewelry. It's all so feminine and precious. She has this tiny little store in Greenwich that houses her one of a kind pieces. Without her even having to tell you can see that her pieces are made with high quality materials and each piece is a work of art. I also found out that Jennifer Garner wore some of Tina Tang's jewelry in that movie 13 going on 30. Cool.
The Exchange Dental Group
I would recommend the Exchange Dental Group to anyone. I used them last year and they were great. They have this really spacious office and waiting area and they keep everything so neat and tidy. Plus they don't leave you there waiting too long. They handled all of my insurance and billing information very speedidly. The dentists are also very professional and friendly.
Lee-Hin Grace Dds
I just recently went to Dr. Grace Lee through a referral for my teeth and I liked her very much. She did a very thorough job cleaning my teeth and filling up a cavity. She even put me at ease while doing my teeth. She is really nice and she takes most dental insurance. She's also located in Midtown so its convenient.
Vanity Fair Cleaners
Vanity Fair Cleaners does exceptional work but they are very pricey. They have french dried and cleaned some of my more fragile items of clothing so they come out looking smooth and very soft. What's also good about them is that they will pick up your clothes for free so they have saved me a trip or two.
New Absolute Laundry Inc
Ever Ready Laundromat is very large and has a lot of modern washers and dryers. You can leave your clothes to be cleaned and pick them up either the same day or the next day. They also offer dry cleaning services which I have used when I'm in a bind and need clothes cleaned quickly. Often the place is packed so you need to get to the good machines quickly and early.
