These desserts are all as delicious as they are beautiful. And they're made with all organic ingredients. They are, however, on the more expensive side of desserts, but they're worth every penny!
PROS: beautiful, delicious desserts
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. Nestled in downtown Naperville, it boasts delicious carpaccio along with all their other appetizers as well as all their entrees. And when I say all, I mean ALL. Their desserts are equally delicious. The waitstaff is also excellent.
PROS: Great food, great waitstaff, absolutely wonderful restaurant
This place is very good. They had a wonderful lobster bisque and everything that had seafood in it was delicious. Unfortunately for my dinner companion who's a vegetarian, Zarzuela's vegetarian options leave much to be desired. But if you eat seafood and enjoy good tapas, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to you.
PROS: good tapas, great seafood
CONS: lack of good vegetarian options
Ironworks has tons of routes and bouldering problems, along with workout equipment, weights, yoga, pilates, spinning, and more! I'm mostly a climber so I'm going to speak to that. Their climbing problems are often good and it's a wide open space. And on the hot days in the Bay Area, this place somehow stays cool which is a godsend.
PROS: good temperature, good climbing
Just for You is a hidden away restaurant that always has a line out the door. They have comfort food breakfast, like french toast, grits and potatoes. I always leave there incredibly full and a relatively small bill.
PROS: Great food for a low price
This is the sister restaurant to Lulu's, which is right next door. I have to be honest: I have a lot of friends who think Azie is overpriced and not worth it. But every time I go there, I'm impressed with the food. It is on the expensive side, but I've never been disappointed by my choice of meals there.
PROS: Great food
CONS: On the expensive side
I have to admit, I've only been to this restaurant once and it was a few years ago. But I was thoroughly unimpressed. The Thai curry we ordered was no better than it would be at a good Thai restaurant. But it was significantly more expensive. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, but I was, again, unimpressed by the food.
PROS: good food
CONS: not worth the price
Kiehl's has great skincare products. I love their intensive hand moisturizers. The consultants are very knowledgable, but I've encountered a few sort of snooty ones, as it is a high-end, rather expensive store. But the products are definitely worth it.
PROS: great products
CONS: bit expensive
San Francisco, as we all know, is a very expensive city. Thank goodness for Park Chow. Park Chow has reasonably priced food, and the portions are filling. Their waitstaff is EXCELLENT (super friendly), and the atmosphere is cozy. The desserts and drinks are also very good (a must have is the ginger cake with pumpkin ice cream). Sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but it's worth it for this great comfort food.
PROS: comfort food, great prices, great waitstaff, wonderful drinks & food
CONS: parking is sometimes difficult in this area & the wait is sometimes long
Bela is the most honest, most reliable auto mechanic I have ever met. He is always right on the money (in terms of his advice on your car), and he doesn't overcharge. His prices are reasonable, and he really knows his stuff. I can't emphasize just how much I trust Bela as a mechanic.
PROS: trustworthy, reliable
CONS: sometimes hard to get appointment times immediately
