I did not have high hopes for the show I was going to see when I saw the outside of the building. It was really old and plain looking. What a wonderful surprise when I stepped inside this theater. Our seats were in the balcony, but we could see perfectly and easily. The entire inside of the theater has been refurbished, and is beautiul. The walls are decorated to look like the entire theater is under the water. They have dinner shows as well, but have not yet tried one. Considering how beautiful the inside was, I would not hesitate to go again.
When we first moved to this area, we were looking for a pediatrician and were given recommendations for the one on staff at this office. We have been seeing him for 4 years now, and am so trusting in his care. He is very thorough, and honest in his assessments. When we started to look for a doctor for the adults in the family, we started to see another doctor in the office that was accepting new patients. We are very happy with the care we receive from him. In the four years we have been at the office, we have had to see specialists, and receive care outside of normal hours, and have been treated with compassion and respect.
I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone. They treat the children with such caring and gentleness. The children receive such a good experience they are not afraid of going to the dentist, and actually look forward to their visits.
PROS: Great with children
Rose Crafts offers a large selection of all kinds of crafts - needlework, kids crafts, art, woodwork, floral design, and a large selection of scrapbooking and stamping supplies. They also have a good variety of gift items that change with the seasons. They have demonstration on Friday morning with a free make and take. They also offer scrapping and stamping parties a few times a month for a very reasonable fee. The framing department had a good variety, is professional and I was very pleased when I used their service. I would use it again.
PROS: Lots of variety, easy to get to, and lots of parking
If you picture an old-fashioned ice cream parlor of the "good ole days", then you could have a picture of Madison's. The walls are painted a pale shade of pink, and their are
knick-knacks all over the counters and walls. There are candy's in jars along the ice cream counter, and a mirrored wall in the back where all the glasses and dishes are kept. The variety of ice creams is good, and they are creamy and delicious. There is also a variety of ice cream concoctions to be made that are equally delicious. The prices are reasonable, and it's a good family atmosphere.
The breads and pastries made here are very good. They make braided breads for the holidays, but you should place an order beforehand. During other times of the year, get their early in the day, because they sometimes sell out. They have great muffins, and specialty flavored breads too.
Walking into the restaurant, it's a very nice place. Time and attention were obviously put into the quality of the furnishings and woodwork. There is also a good view of the waterfront. Upon ordering, I requested Iced Tea, what I received was the instant tea out of the soda fountain. When I inquired if they brewed their tea, the reply was no. I have been there several time and each time I have been disappointed with my entree. It's not that it wasn't cooked properly, it was just not great food. I could have done better at home. The prices are on the expensive side, and the portions are small.
The atmosphere is very lively and upbeat in this restaurant. The restaurant is also a brewery, and until you find their brew you like, they have a nice sampler of their brews. The brew sampler is ample enough to be shared by two people. The menu selections have a good variety. They also have specials available. The food is flavorful and fresh, and cooked well. The portions are very reasonable for the amount paid. The service staff are friendly and attentive.
Walking into the diner, you automatically figure out fish and chips must be their specialty, because the aroma surrounds you. The fish and chips are served hot, crisp and flaky. There are many tables along the window wall where you can watch the airplanes taxi, take off and land. Obviously, a hit with children. The service staff is always attentive, and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable, and parking is readily available.
My 2 year old decided it would be a good time to check to see if Hot Wheels flush very well. They don't. We received wonderful service from this business. All other places I called gave me an estimate of $100 and up just to give me an estimate of the repair. Most suggested I would have to replace my toilet. Not only did Anthony's come out in a timely manner, and fix my problem, they did it for quite a bit less than $100. We also discovered that one Hot Wheel would go through, but two will get stuck.
